I will jump out the window if she has two vaginas or something similar. I'm still sad about the multipenis from the male. ;__;
I mean, that's how lizards actually are. I can appreciate the "realism" in that design decision, as well as the fact that it gives the lizardman some kind of novelty for developing unique animations. I can also appreciate the fact that the lizardman's hemipenis isn't any more realistic than it already is: real ones tend to be some variety of little barbed bulbs that look like cthulu's nutsack.

Basically, I can understand both sides. Even with mammalian anthropomorphs, many design liberties must be taken to make fucking it not look disgusting, but make it too human and all the fantastical appeal goes out the window. It's a balancing act that will always leave some people feeling like they went too far in the wrong direction.

For me it's just about preferences and not being the one who only wants his preference to be in the game. A choice to pick what i want is what i strive for. :D

Sure, I agree. I personally appreciate the hemipenis. But it's a little odd in comparison that they gave the big cat species canine genitals.

hey guys, how can i start group-sex in wild life? thx
This has been asked many times before, so I'd suggest using the search function. But since I'm feeling like being nice right now, I'll give you the gist of it.
  1. Find compatible actors in the spreadsheet;
  2. Posses one of the actors;
  3. Spawn the rest of the actors;
  4. Talk to and each of the other actors and make them follow you;
  5. Talk to one and select the group option.

So there's nothing else to really do in the game after you talk to the tribe chief? I can mess around with the character spawner and editor to make scenes, but it all seems a bit basic.

hi ive got a few questions:

is there a way to get a nice 360 view of a sex scene? ive noticed in the poser, there is the option to lift the character in the air, but its not there for sex scenes. maybe an invisible plattform of some sort?

is there a place where people share their character costumizations?

is their a place with screen shots of all the sex scenes? i have the google doc but i dont really like having to go through all of them to see what they look like

What exactly were your expectations from an unfinished game that, I assume, you haven't even maid a contribution for? If it were the other way around and it had a fleshed out storyline and quests already but no sex animations you'd probably still complain...

another "you have not contributed so you are not allowed an opinion" argument. which has been done to death already in this thread. he is allowed his opinion. wether he contributed or not. i understand there are fanboys that want to deflect any sort of criticism put out against the game. but if the criticism is valid(which it is)it does not matter if he contributed or not.

the game has been in development since late 2016. and while it improved massivly animation wise it hasn't advanced anything substantially in the other area,s the developers said they would focus on like story,mechanics and actual gameplay. and the things they did add on those points just feel like they flex taped it on the last moment to make it not too obvious that at this point, besides a beatifull animation viewer. the game is going nowhere, or atleast not in the direction they advertise it will go.

in my humble opinion it still isn't to late for them to admit they aimed to high with their ambitions and just scrap all the Story/Quest stuff and just go all in on the Sex animations,find a good gameplay loop that go with those animations and add RPG elements to top it off. basicly an open world Honey Select.with superior graphics and less Anime nonesense(sorry weebs) this is far more manageable to accomplish instead of trying to reinvent the wheel again but this time with sex. if they do it this way they keep the majority of their funding(most people fund this just to fap) and have a clear and attainable goal. they really have the potential to become the European Illusion company(only the good parts i hope). and it would be a shame if they waste that by aiming on to many targets but not hitting the bullseye with even 1 of them.

Another "why hasn't a small team of non-professional devs with limited funds implemented an entire complex story with several hours worth of content including crafting, building, and fighting mechanics along with dialogue and dozens of sex animations in less than a few years?" argument. Which has been done to death already in this thread.

You said it yourself. They aimed high with their ambitions. That doesn't mean their aim was "too high". Their goal is a very big and complex one. And as such it takes a long time, especially with their limitations. Obviously they have to start off with the basics. Meaning they have to lay down the groundwork for the animations, graphics, map, dialogue, quests, fighting mechanics, etc. They are progressing at a pretty reasonable rate. Especially when you consider everything that's being done "behind the scenes".

It still takes major game companies around two years to put out a game even when they have 100+ people working on it and virtually unlimited resources and funds. Not sure what you guys expect from a team of less than two dozen who rely solely on Patreon support for funds.

i know your whiteknighting for your gamedeveloper. but that isn,t even close to what i said. keep the strawman up tho.

nobody reasonable is expecting a finished product by now. how ever what people do expect is a prove of concept after that time of all mechanics advertised after 4 years. which has not happened.how can you blame people that come here and then complain that what is advertised isn,t even in the game in a basic form?

they aren,t a small team of developers for over a year now. so it really is time that argument dies in a fire. and have you ever considered that if you are a small team maybe it isn,t that smart to have such ambitions in the first place? why would you ever as an unproffesional small team(as you said) take such a complex task of developing a game that is clearly to high above your weight class? it,s like taking a test that you have not learned for, and after you undoubtly fail you blame the test. it,s a very childish way of aproaching things.

small amount of funding? they have been raking in 80k+ also for a year now. and where dancing around 50k income in the years before.not triple A levels of income. but still large enough to get a well rounded demo ready which shows all that is advertised. not seeing any of that.

"they are progressing at a reasonable rate" uhm..... no? almost 4 solid years later and what do we have?very good animations yes i agree. but not even the basic ground work has been laid for the Story/Quest or even game mechanics and all other stuff you mentioned. just 6 months ago they added a shooting range room that consisted of assets primarly from unreal engine store. in the meantime nothing has happened on that mechanic as well. it's all very last minute,bone trowing, low effort focus that is being put on the other mechanics.so if people who see the tags the game is advertised with.go check it out and see nothing is representative of what developers is saying, they complain. strange isn,t it?

"it still take major game companies around two years to put out a game........." maybe but atleast those game companies start advertising whats in the game IF they have something to show for it. unlike WildLife where it,s all based on wishfull thinking,without having delivered even a shred of evidence they are capable of making a game the scale they want it to be.

what they have proven is being able to produce very good Sex simulation style of animation. so why not focus on that. give your patrons the Bread and games they want. and drop everything else that just isn,t worth the trouble like Story/Quest. start removing the wishfull thinking advertising and just go full Sex Sim mode.thats where the talent lies with the developers anyway so why not make full use of it?

I dont quite get what your point is. Arent they doing exactly that right now? Producing dozens of sex animations every new release, giving you something new every time. New characters, new animations, new locations.
If the story and complex game mechancis arent visible right now doesnt mean much, they are probably working on that in parallel but you dont see it becuse it takes much longer to get to a presentable state in those areas.

But honestly, you seem to be just an other one of those know-it-alls that thinks he knows how the world works - no offence. Good for you man but you think writing half a book's worth of comments here of all places is going to make the devs change course? They are one of the highest earning patreon projects so that pretty much tells that they are doing a lot of things right. Yes, the project lacks shit here and there, but time might fix that and all in all their concepts seems to be working fairly well for them.

You can drop a "mark my words" and make a prediction for 2022. If nothing changed by then then yeah, Id probably start to think like you too but as it stands now, they probably still need to figure out a bunch of thigs we cant see from here.

In the end if you are really that passionate about this then go actually talk to them directly and tell them this. Id be interested what they themselves would say about it.

Oh of course, anyone who tries to defend the devs of a project they support is just a stupid "whiteknight". It couldn't possibly be anything else, could it? Saying things like that really just ruins any credibility you have.

"what people do expect is a prove of concept after that time of all mechanics advertised after 4 years. which has not happened"
Literally the entire thing is a proof of concept right now. In fact, that's the only thing it is right now. They introduced the sex scenes and character interactions, a basic quest to show off how the main quests are going to work, two basic fight scenes to show off the fighting mechanics, and there are some things to craft at the campfire to show off the crafting system.

"they aren,t a small team of developers for over a year now"
Perhaps compared to most games here it isn't a "small" team, but considering their goals, yes. And as you stated, their team was far smaller a year ago, which further supports my arguments as to why progress isn't to your liking.

"have you ever considered that if you are a small team maybe it isn,t that smart to have such ambitions in the first place?"
And who are you to decide how big of a goal someone should have? Isn't "dream big" the most generic motivational slogan out there? Do you just give up on your dreams if someone else tells you they're too ambitious for you? Or do you tell them to piss off and go prove them wrong?

"small amount of funding? they have been raking in 80k+ also for a year now"
Again, it's a lot compared to most games around here. But not when you consider their goals. Perhaps I spoke too generically when I said "small amount of funding". I was merely expressing that money is still a concern for them, compared to major game companies.

""they are progressing at a reasonable rate" uhm..... no?"
Uhm... yes? Again, as you pointed out, their team before last year was far smaller than it is now (which still isn't that big) so I don't see how this is that unreasonable.

"but not even the basic ground work has been laid for the Story/Quest or even game mechanics and all other stuff you mentioned."
It literally is. Have you even played recently? All of that stuff has had basic ground work laid out for some time.

"just 6 months ago they added a shooting range room that consisted of assets primarly from unreal engine store"
That is just a test-bed mainly for the devs as the main story will be utilizing shooter mechanics. There are no further plans for it until the main story is implemented.

"...all based on wishfull thinking,without having delivered even a shred of evidence they are capable of making a game the scale they want it to be."
Everything in the game right now is a "shred of evidence" of what they are capable of. They have laid the groundwork for pretty much everything they want to add to show people what they can expect. And whether you like to believe it or not, they have been working on the main quest and all other major aspects of the game (along side of adding new sex scenes and fixing bugs) for a while now and expect them to be released this year.

"what they have proven is being able to produce very good Sex simulation style of animation. so why not focus on that"
Simple. That's not the game they want to develop. They want an open world survival sex game, so that's what they're gonna do. I'm sure there are other games out there that are just Sex Sims and nothing else. But this isn't what the devs want Wild Life to be. So if you, or anyone else, thinks that the quests and all that other stuff are just a waste of time, then what are you doing here? This game obviously isn't what you're looking for if you only want the sex.
