lag doesn't only refer to network lag, there can be frame (gpu) lag, input lag, AI lag, scripting lag, animation (as in the animations syncing or starting) lag, etc.

The new drop down menu for sex animations alone makes it worth it to some of us. Having to flip through animations can be a pain.

If you look at the OP on Page 1 you will see that the download was updated to the "2020.11.20_Shipping_Test_Build_1". Download this build from this site, not the Patreon link, and you will get the latest build which is uncensored. When two characters are close, you can interact (Press "E") and some rudimentary dialog will take place. You can tell that the existing dialog is temporary because the speech animations do not match the speech audio, but it's okay for now. When one character is done speaking, you have to click on the screen (in Windows) to activate the other character's response, then click the screen again, etc. Then you can click on the main character's dialog options, which displays a "Sex Cheat". This allows you to activate the sex animations between the two characters, or more than two if you approach several characters and ask them to follow you, which also allows you to chose where your characters are going to get busy.
The fact that it says "Sex Cheat" implies that the Dev is working on the sex animations before developing the rest of the gameplay - gotta keep the subscribers happy... But in future builds it is likely that you will actually have to engage in some gameplay in order to unlock the sex options, maybe a fetch quest or something. But for now you can immediately jump into the sex animations between characters, which are pretty good for this early in the development.
What I don't understand is why the Dev moved the Character Customization into the Sex/Intercourse menu instead of a stand-alone menu just for customizing the main and secondary characters.
Also, you can have sex as other characters within the game by choosing the "Possess" option in the dialog choices. You then "become" that character and can proceed as if that is the new main character.
But no, if you download from the link here on the first page, this build is Uncensored and I highly recommend this game. As far as I can tell, this is the best X-Rated 3D RPG on this site, and I can't wait for the Developer to make this game bigger and better. Although I don't see any BDSM, virtually every other type of Fanatasy RPG sex is represented - straight, fetish, (gay? - haven't tried it), lesbian, group, furry, fisting! and perhaps more, still just getting the hang of the game and the controls which don't map well on my 4K screen. But again, totally worth it!

When I want to play this I go back to an older build. This one is giving me loads of issues on many things. Massive framerate drops are the biggest problem even on lower graphics settings. This build is the worst one yet. I hope the problems get resolved with the next release.

Part of the appeal of porn games is the game itself, there's plenty of tools and methods out there for simply viewing a gallery of porn, and if that's all I wanted I'd go to them. I think they're at a stage of development where they're pretty much done with porn animations, and would only need to add more if they kept adding characters. And the problem with this is that it means that if they ever do try to shift the focus to the game itself, people could get upset at the porn animations being added less. The best way to handle it would have been to split updates between gameplay/storyline additions and porn animation dumps, but that's not what they've done and it could easily come to bite them in the ass.

The animations are top notch. I just want them to add some sort of story and gameplay elements.
AFAIK Adeptus Steve talked about that earlier in development, that they are mostly focusing on the animation aspects, for obvious reasons(sex sells! especially good stuff like theirs) and slowly building things in the background for story implementation.
As the animation work alone is getting them tons of funding and provides them a nice cushion while at the same time keeps the lewd-only crowd satisfied for when they start reducing erotic updates and shift focus on the story elements.
I'm absolutely sure that this wont bite them in the ass.
bruh they release updates like once in 2-3 months - if they don't add new sex animations their patreons would prolly be pissed af - people are supporting him for the sex(most of them are anyways).
as someone who isn't paying a dime - I am happy with this- if they add quests then its icing on top
also if you have seen their office - they have like 5-6 departments.
Ig they will keep adding animations and next update will prolly have a decent amount of quests
on their patreon they have a timeline - which they have been following afaik - and it says the build coming at the end of december will have a lot of sidequests and 1 main quest.

40% of patrons support because of the characters that are beauty and greatly made.
50% of patrons support because sex animations are nice, smooth and fucking next gen level.
10% patrons support because Steve is "in touch" with community alots via streaming and else, so they know the game is seriously under development.

)their strategy is easy to understand. They want to make the big "package" of the game first. wich is animations and chars. then attack on environment.
the story is like 4% of the difficulty of any game. it's just basic scripting. with a bit of imagination, everybody can make a great story. it's the easiest part of any game.
but creating animations smooth and perfect, chars that are outstanding level and environement that look cool and not full empty.... that's the big deal of any games.
they do the good thing. obviously such a game aint renpy or else. it's hard to make and take time. (we aint get some GTA games in a few months XD. sure comparison is too high, but still.)
Have you seen the crap that is on patreon that is generating ridiculous amount of money with hardly any updates. People are loyal AF.
