Can anyone share the primary, OFFICIAL promo images showcasing Wild Life looking STUNNING in UE5?

I imagine before upgrading to UE5, they loaded Maya into a new UE5 project, made her look stunning with all the new lights and shader materials, THEN upgraded to UE5, with that base test as a guide of how to make everything look stunning.

If they upgraded to UE5 first, and now are working on making it look stunning, that might take a long time.

They might want to just make a new UE5 project, make Maya look drop dead porn gorgeous with all the new features, then show that to people, so everyone gets excited for UE5.

What are their main promo images showcasing how moving to UE5 was worth it? (Don't get me wrong, moving to UE5 is worth it no matter what, but it helps to have promo images showing people precisely why the move to UE5 is worth it, in regards to Wild Life).

There are no promo images specifically made to showcase UE5 against UE4 by developers. Some users made images here and on discord though, me included.

Developers are now 100% focused on stabilizing the new build so promo shots take low priority. Also, the lighting in UE5 is a work in progress so don't expect anything mind blowing. Your UE4 saves won't look good in UE5 bcs every light source needs to be re-adjusted from scratch. But the new lighting is a step up if you put some work into it.

Do I understand it right that after playing the UE5 version you can't open your projects in UE4 anymore?
Happened to us all - the solution is to go to your save file folder, copy the json7 files, then delete the original json7 files and rename the json7 copies to end just with json.

E.g.:

You have a file called "Showroom.json.v7" -> Copy that ("Showroom.json.v7 copy")

Now delete "Showroom.json.v7"

Rename your copy from ""Showroom.json.v7 copy" to "Showroom.json".

Now you can open it again in your UE4 version.

no offense, but i dare say once its properly optimized and assets/models updated (hopefully) and everything working very well and has great performance, it will also look much better that this. it doesnt look much different than UE4 version right now.

100k budget: there are tons of good freelance artist who would bang out 50 new animations a month for only a very little fraction of that. You can lead the development however you want, it's your game, but that's one of the reasons I as potential customer are skeptical about you organizing your priorities / managing your funds in the right way for a game that is supposed to be paid in early developement vs. offering stuff to play with in the meanwhile.

i have my doubts about the animation quality remaining as is if he decided to do that

The good screens were in UE4 look at the bottom build dates

uhhh no I meant what I said lol, I like the 12.2022 ones more, except that the shadows need more tuning.
Overall they are not so dark for no reason unlike the UE4 ones

HardcoreCuddler I think this case is hopeless. In the end it doesnt even matter, people like that come and go.

But how about I use the chance of this post for something useful instead?

Quick update on development:
We fixed around 10 different crashes, the anim desyncing issues, the sandbox gizmo issues, some performance issues due to memory management and many other smaller issues. Big things we still havent been able to fix as it will take more time than what we have left for this year: Physics jittering, general performance, lighting is also still work in progress.

Porn games are a niche only because the elite society decided that for us, for example look a GTA San Andreas, Rockstar Games have made sex scenes with girlfriend in the beta, and It made a so huge bad buzz that it was removed completly...
Even Cyberpunk 2077 hide everything, and every games and films / series that are -18 are so shy that they don't show any sex, but they show gore, blood, decapitations and more, yes ( they show us the death, and they hide the life and the creation of life )

lumen is only a small part of what makes UE5 amazing.
