how do you play this in VR?

Came here to ask the same question, I found UEVR method but this method has a lot of problems with this game and it only works with old version (UE4) from Steam while it's hardly lagging with long freezes in new versions of the game. I'm pretty sure my PC is powerfull enough to launch it.
I also tried VR25Build and it's not clear what to do with those files, should I add it to the full game build or should I run it separately?

Hi guys,

I have tried the game on DX12 on my RTX 3060 1440p resolution

Can confirm the game now runs at decent FPS thanks to FG and Upscalers (FSR3).

You can expect 40ish FPS on 6gb cards. UE5 is VRAM hungry.

In other news, I'll start saving up to buy a 4090 to play this game lmao

wait for the next gen of cards to come out then the 4090 might drop in price? especially when the 5090 is released.

I can run it 60 fps on msi 1080 ti, however dx11 is faster, good that i can change api, only seen it in doom and few other games... compared to this carnal instinct has better lighting and more polygons... UE4 one runs great too and has legitimate quests you can actually finish, be it fetch quest it's still good.

here npcs look comical lol like toons first of all, i had a boner when this was released, 7 years back probably or was that just 2018? idk man... so many games game afterwards with better graphics, i just couldn't get hard with this, i tried.

it's free to grab here, otherwise i will call it a scam, cuz there's literally zero content, everything i wanna do is cockblocked by a message "PLACEHOLDER, NOT IMPLIMENTED YET, I AM HUNGRY FEED ME PEASANT!", etc. ok, bye mfs

oh btw how does one manages to leave white missing textures for a stupid spaceship intro? should've just picked silver or grey color, people would think "ya, space ship mfs". smh

If the first startup of the launcher triggers a 'Windows protected your PC' message, click 'More info' and 'Run anyway ' .
The Wild Life launcher will take care of downloading from a custom server for you. This still doesn't include patching as we aren't quite there with that system yet, but it will download from a custom server so you don't have to deal with different confusing file hosts and their limitations anymore. Our goal is to run the entire build distribution via the launcher someday.

what you do is turn off global illumination, change api. rest the usual, medium-high graphics, lower the res, go to novidia control panel and select texture filtering high performance.

if you can, for christmas get the ASRock Radeon RX 6600 Challenger D 8GB from newegg, it's under $200 now and giving 100+ fps in cyberpunk at 1080p low. You will see 20 fps drop at high settings with rx 6600, so 80 fps on high. cyberpunk. Not bad eh?

When launching the game I get this: "XAudio2.7 is not installed. Make sure you have XAudio 2.7 installed. XAudio 2.7 is available in the DirectX End-User Runtime (June 2010)."

Can not hear sex scene audio.

Updated windows, direct x, restarted pc, the dll file is in system32, found a new one online, pasted it over the existing one. Did not work. I will try to solve this but if you can run wildlife without issue, could you please copy your XAudio2.7.dll file from C/Windows/System32 and post it here, thanks. <3

EDIT: I suspect this won't work. Tried updating drivers, reinstalling directx, visualcc redistributables, forcing the game to use XAudio 2.9, copying the XAudio 2.7 to game directory..

Last weeks version worked. Something has changed.

EDIT 2: I redownloaded the game and extracted it gain. Now it works no problem.

Anyone else getting offset bug? Every time i trigger an animation by set control character especially bj scenes, the Female is usually too high or too low, either sunk into ground or floating. Thought I fixed one this morning but still happening.

And yes seems to be permanently offset even for other positions

Edit: Yup confirmed, 2024.10.17 version works just fine. I'll wait for patch or new version then..
Tested, creating new scene in new version and loading existing scenes in new version both have issue in new version.
Strangely enough both work on old version, fixed offset from -87 to -90 and works like before

Edit again: Looks like only effects Maya x non max characters, tested on bol and illijah both were really bad

Thats the thing, year before, then i tried this game, its all worked good, besides disappearing make-up. And like SerpentWave has suggested, changing some objects/terrain details usually helped. Now its just not loading at all and i am afraid, available ram has little to do with this, because i have 32 gigs. Gonna pin my system configs, hope it will help a bit. Oh, and thanks for helping guys, appreciate it.

What version is this? 6.12 or 13.12 ? From what I know this is something we fixed in the 13.12 version.

you prolly have 32gb of actual ram for your system to use to run programs

your video card has 4gb vram for you system to hold textures and other video stuff

4gb vram is kinda low
