i am on chapter five stuck on the phone after talking to Ethan and i cant do anything after that

Got an issue with Chapter 5 though.
I saved at the end of Chapter 4 Part 2 when the game told me to save in order to be able to continue playing the next Chapter. But when I load said save in Chapter 5, I get an error message. When clicking on ignore, the game starts from the very beginning. The same happens when loading any othe save file.
Is there a patch or workaround?

Chapter 6 is calling!
- Renders: done (800 renders with animations)
- Animations: done (9x 40FPS, i tried to make them longer and more realistic)
- Code: done
- Writing: working
- SoundFX and Songs: working
- Proofreading: not started
As you can see, not much is missing! Chapters 1-5 have been checked for errors and are now overhauled.
I expect to be able to tell you the exact release date in a few days. Personally I prefer to announce the dates during proofreading instead of before. There can always be something still causing problems. That way I have a bit more time to solve them reasonably.
Since I would like to release Chapter 7 for you this year, I need your support again. Besides we can bridge the transition time
The polls will be uploaded in the next 24h.
I have the following open questions for you:
You have to help me with the summer outfit for Mia and Rachel. Both will have fun in summer temperatures and try new things.
Our innocent Mia wants to wear her hotpants and an breezy shirt. She is unsure of the color of her shirt. Can you guys help with that?

Just finally getting around to trying this and errors/typos that I would've figured to be fixed after over six months since the initial release are present. Specifically default names being used in spots and the the misspelling of "gross" as "grose". I'm just in the Mia introduction part still so I don't know how often this happens still.

The game did bring me immeasurable joy in the start but then the MC turned into a bumbling idiot around pretty girls aka a top SIMP. The rest I skipped because I did not want to leave the game after such an awesome start. may be it was written by various ppl or various moods or both.
