That's not true...at least partially. Ikeda didn't say he'll stop making games but he said he wanted to make games for All Ages and not Adult Games...which is a huge bummer since his H-Dot Games (Pixel) are phenomenal but we have to respect his decision.

Yeah, it's meant to. It's pixel art. The edits you made to your game just make it go fullscreen when you open the game and disables linear filtering, which removes the blurriness from the pixel art.

If you want you could use something like LosslessScaling with xBR, but I personally think that ruins the look of the game.

srry i meant the text, its kinda odd, it looks blurry and pixelated not the game itself, I feel that it has a lower resolutions that previous versions, is that true, btw isnt anyway we can change the resolution?

you are right. From what i understood(could be wrong as i haven't checked his every responses) is that after making a sequel to his popular game.
he is currently burned out on nsfw games at the moment.
He said he may make a sequel to winter memories but nothing is certain at the moment other than sfw game he is working on that he started while making winter memories as a side project.

Just like Summer Memories, this game is certainly worth its money. I don't know if I'll write a guide for this one too, my guide for Summer Memories is very popular, but I think a guide for this one could be a real pain.

I dunno. It's highly unlikely that he'll do a sequel of it. There's no such thing as Spring break in Japan as far as I know. I prefer him to tackle other ideas instead of just sticking to the seasonal memories if ever he'll do a sequel about it.

and if he did, I think it's better if it's a teenage Boku living with them and attending school in his aunt's place with potential new characters in a school setting .

from what i remember is that they do have spring break but its like 10 days so its shorter than winter break.

I prefer him to tackle other ideas instead of just sticking to the seasonal memories if ever he'll do a sequel about it.

i agree i feel that winter was more like an expansion than a full sequel like how i see zelda botw and totk.
he also feels the same and said he will continue when he has new interesting ideas to work with, thus it may be years for any anouncement to be made.

To those people saying that the dev will stop making eroge games, I dont see any posts backing that claim up. Dev simply said his next work(s) is going to be for all ages and he asks that people dont need to sub on his cien as there's no point in it.

Edit: Here's one of his quotes regarding about this subject from his ci-en:

I dont mind him making non-eroge games. He mentioned that he didnt feel challenged or there's nothing new to really signify freshness on Winter Memories as it's just a sequel with same mechanics.

I think it's a good idea to let him explore other stuff, so when his ready to make a new eroge, we might see new mechanics and improvement in his work.

Not gonna play his next game though, because it's simply a sidescroll turn based rpg from the looks of it. Anyway, I dont think the dev is done making eroge games. But it's gonna be a long long while before we'll get a new eroge from the dev, that's for sure.

I’ve found threads that go “yeah this game is similar” but they never stick.
I like the gameplay, characters, etc. I can’t do full on visual novels, there needs to be gameplay AND good text any recommendations?

The Steam version is censored, not just the appearance of the main character but everything even slightly sexual was removed. But there's an official patch that restores everything on the Kagura homepage.
