You probably still want it, it fixes some issues with variables but its not strictly necessary.

I assume you're stuck on this screen too (I've beaten everyone at mentai, I have the panty collector achievement sooo I'm assuming that I've got everything and it's a bug)

Confirmed its a bug with the MTL. I'm investigating now.

Edit: The fix is in... a peculiar hard to find bug. However I'm not sure if its the save or something else but even with the original text it says 0/20.

Probably, yes. It happened with Summer Memories, and since it sold quite well, they probably are giving it priority.
