I'm doing the normal route right now and i can see right away it's totally different. This whole introduction in my office talking about Wrackspurts was not there in the first path i took. This is going to be interesting. The path i did before was just straight forward.
I wish i remembered what i did to unlock that, i did unlock a pumpkin. But i'd try everything. There are so many things i did that could of triggered it, like dueling with Snape, something with the mirror of erised, talking to certain people, rummaging through the cupboard, or even something shiny in the fireplace. It was just a few days ago i unlocked it but i already forgot.
Haven’t played the game in a long time but I think there’s an option for that in the settings. Also, pressing and holding CTRL gives you a good control for skipping, I believe.
I currently have it set to skip all messages and to stop skipping after choices. I see you are right about CTRL, it stops the skipping. But i still feel like when someone walks out the door the skipping should stop. But oh well.
I get you, but unfortunately, a door is not a choice. It’s just a different block of text in the game. There should be an option in Ren’Py that stops skipping when you reach a new label but there isn’t.
you have to play the wizard card game duels and you'll win tokens that you use at the Weasley's shop to buy the decorations.
In the future versions of the game, skipping will be turned off on the day end/start. Thanks for your feedback!
try searching from web pre-1.36 or pre-1.30 versions. should be available on some sites.
