I agree with you. 2 things that always bothered me is that a lot of updates are either outfits or fucking potions. I want more story, & more sex scenes. If I want to play dress up there's Honey Select, VAM or whatever. Both outfits and potions are just a bonus to me, something you can concentrate on when story updates are almost done. Which is far from being the case here, and either devs focused on it because it's faster and easier to make even when you don't have a dedicated artist, or this is because that's what Patrons want. Which is really stupid as long as characters stories are not done. But if they pay and want this, then I understand the devs. I just hope they don't listen to 10% of vocal supporters, or make polls like "Potions or outfits ?" with no way of choosing "characters progression".its just a dress up game at this point like wtf is the point of the outfits ? every update a million fucking outfits

Yeah I only ever pick the one thing I like the most and never change it, this goes for any game with similar features.no need to dress up them besides choosing fav. out fits for them.
the first thing i deactivate in this game, if i start new, is the outfit scheduler. doesn't have anything to do with the story i'm playing the game for, and resets whatever custom stage of clothes or lack-there-of you pick, until you have each single of the ones you picked added into it, and removed everything you don't want.I dunno fellas, i like the wardrobe. It has neat functions, you can set up different outfits for different weathers, times of day, some combination.
And if they're easy to add, then they probably don't take up much dev-time, so it's not like we're losing out on other stuff.
that's pretty much what i use outfits for, up to a degree of 'disrobedness', in lack of a better term. actually like the school outfit in it's various states over most of the other stuff, and have no use for all the cosplays; not buying them does reduce the lag by quite a bit when working the wardrobe tab.I don't change the outfits very often, but I do sometimes use them to see how far Hermione can be pushed. If she won't accept an outfit, then she's not going to perform a certain task.
The content is expanded upon massively compared to the original game. I'd say there's no real point in playing the original over this even if you don't like the other content.I am happy I am not the only one bothered by it. What is the point of this mod? The main game from Akbur is the only interesting part.
If you really think that, I'd suggest going back and playing the original game. You'll very quickly notice the improvements.I am happy I am not the only one bothered by it. What is the point of this mod? The main game from Akbur is the only interesting part.
well there -are- other grils, which aren't in the original, just none of them is finished with a complete story. since it's more than one additional girl, by nature of interaction it might become increasingly difficult to finish storylines. the one 'issue' i see is that outfits are what's updated the most, making the whole thing heavier and ressource hungrier with each update, with little progress on what i'm mainly interested in: the stories.I am happy I am not the only one bothered by it. What is the point of this mod? The main game from Akbur is the only interesting part.
As long as we get to spoil her makeup." The main focus of the next update will be Cho Chang and the final Quidditch match and its subsequent events. We will try avoiding spoilers, but be aware that some spoilers may still slip through. "
This is just a small seasonal update we wanted to share with the community (like we do every year) as we continue working on the next big thing.Well, that was incredibly disappointing. A very short, very boring mirror story, and a couple of outfits? Is that really it?
I don't remember the last time they put a new sex scene in this porn game. The last few updates seem to be mostly redrawing old scenes and rubbish like this.
The comedy is poor too, certainly not good enough to make up for the complete lack of anything sexual beyond a still image of 2 people masturbating.
If the next update just adds back in the removed Luna content with new art and s few outfits, I am going to pull my hair out.
This game has so much potential and it's being squandered.
The original Witch Trainer codebase simply wasn't up to standard, and adding anything new to the game resulted in horrendous imagery or crashes, so we had to redo everything from scratch. The comedy does lack something, especially (for me) the self referential Akabur stuff, and the "genie knows about Harry Potter" stuff. It doesn't kill the game for me, but doesn't add anything to it either. However, leave it for the moment and work on the rest of it, and maybe think about removing it later. I would also like to see less card games and other distractions, and more sexual corruption and enslavement, but especially more storylines.
We tested sex scenes before deployment and we didn't encounter any issues. What issue do you have with personal favours?Sweet update but cant wait for more action with the girls... plus still the personal favors sex with Hermione is still broken.
I fully appreciate the massive effort that is required, and that you have put in so far, and you have my respect for it. I am trying my hand at making a game, and especially as I am trying to do it all myself, it is an almost impossibly massive task. Please don't take any of my comments to mean that I undervalue the work you continue to put in. Errors here or there are inevitable, and you have to deal with many conflicting opinions (mine included) about what should and shouldn't be included or removed or changed. Please keep up the excellent work. The original Witch Trainer codebase simply wasn't up to standard, and adding anything new to the game resulted in horrendous imagery or crashes, so we had to redo everything from scratch.
Because the original game was not meant to function with numerous characters, locations, or even CGs, the codebase had to be overhauled, therefore everything had to be reimagined and reimplemented using new methods.
Since then, we have not only updated the codebase, but we have also kept the game engine up to date to ensure that the game works on new and old systems and to fix engine bugs, something other games rarely do (huge respect to any other dev that updates the engine regularly, I know first hand what that entails).
