since Ren'Py allows lots, tons, of saves without complaining, my solution to things i want replayable is, to have some extra saves for scenes, starting somewhat remote on like page5+ of the saves, while operation actual game progress from saves on pages 1 and 2 (not that much branching so don't have to keep many saves).

hmmm maybe you head to the Requests section of the forum, and put up a request for a "Witch Trainer Silver Mod Dressup mod", of sorts? it's not really my kind of thing with lots of clothes to swap, but some people seem to like it. maybe someone's already working on such a thing, who knows.
I'll do it. Thanks =D.

But, I just wanted to show people (and Devs) there's a lot of content already able to be implemented. No need to create new content from zero. I hope they think in implementing all that wardrobe, because the art is already ready (and I think it's the most hard work). You just need to make the codding hard work to implement all that content.

I hope one day they made a update just for the clothes... Especially the most modded ones.

this is clothing from a very old build, somewhere around 1.2, I think. all the clothing would have to be made from scratch to be compatible with the current build. especially as they have changed/updated the character models. I remember this being discussed 1 or 2 years ago.
oh man... it's really true? I thaugh that the hardest part was to made the art... Can you (or someone) explain why that old art is unviable to use nowadays? A mean... for me it was just a question of get the art and put on the correct place on the model... Am I soo wrong?

Hello everyone,

I hope you're enjoying the latest update! We've been working on addressing some pesky bugs, and it took us a few days to smooth everything out, but we got there in the end! Here are a few mentions of what the new patch brings:

  • Tonks hangouts are now fixed, and we've resolved the issues with the new multithreading solution.
  • Introducing a new toggle for autosaves, allowing you to turn them off.
  • Various minor tweaks and fixes.
Additionally, we've introduced some changes to our updater server to ensure it functions flawlessly from now on. However, there's a small hiccup with the in-game updater that requires a manual input fix. Don't worry; it's a straightforward process, and will have to be done only once. Here's what you need to do:
  1. While in the main menu, press SHIFT+O to open the console.
  2. Enter the following two commands one by one and confirm each with the enter key:
def version_logo(): return Null()
updater.update(bytes.fromhex('687474703a2f2f757064617465732e73696c76657273747564696f67616d65732e6f7267').decode())

This will initiate the updater and allow you to proceed with the update directly, without the need to download it from the website. The best part is that the update sizes will be smaller, as only the parts that have changed will be downloaded, so it saves us both some bandwidth. If you don't want to use the updater, you can always grab the full package from our website.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. If you encounter any issues or have questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

By the way, we're excited to let you know that we'll be resuming our dev blogs very soon, and we'll be making an announcement regarding the contents of the next big update. We want to keep things transparent and share our progress with you all. So stay tuned for some behind-the-scenes insights and other fun stuff!

Thank you for your continued support, and see you all soon.

i think it can't be fixed with the current (most recent) build.
the updater seems not to be working in the build before, that was already mentioned. old saves likely aren't compatible, once more, due to changes made to the game code, and the game core (engine).. this error in few words says "the updater can't get the update" but far as i know, team is aware of it.

*edit* lol took too long to write, Lemon beat me :D

btw can say some about the multithreading and ancient systems: switching it Off didn't change much, except a slight higher RAM usage (overall ~2.5GB vs ~2.2GB); the increase of video cash did the trick, so now running multithreading On, and increased video cash to 1024 (for now), might be doubling that and tell more with the new version.

Playing Cho's storyline is frustrating for me in so many ways, like 20% of artwork of her is great, the rest coud be better, mabe i dont know something mabe there was a fallout with a previows artist, but there was a sudden downgrade in quality of art in this game, i kinda lost track of time, i think it was awile ago, i get it it's free, but i rather pay the price for better product, it was a delight to look at interface of the game, mechanics and writing are very good, i sometimes crack at the sudden joke here and there, i dont want to spark a debate or something, this words coming from a good plase , i just think that most important part of this kinda games are visuals, they are hight resolution but drawn ok at best, some of CG are good, the others feels like drawn by defferent artist.I just feel like the game coud SO much better with a better artwork, even the disclaimer on the start of the game looks poorly drawn, at the same time the header on the site looks awesome, its a rollercoaster cause you see good resolution and good interface and good models, but when they start to undress it feels disappointing, a get it , everything is subjective but drawing vagaina of a girl with just a single line is a strange dicision(Cho's model), even more so, contrastion with a better art of the game. Anyway thanks for reading my half-rant, i wish the game and developers the best, but artwork if the reason i play the game only every 3-4 updates hoping it will get better.

No, I don't think I will.

That's still very much a part of the intro sequences for Hermione.
You're going to start losing gamers with that rotten attitude. You may be a game dev, but you're a bad one. It's a loading screen you've ruined the game for. Can't turn around and blame specs for something EXTREMELY BASIC that you need a high-end PC for... a loading screen.

Since its inception, artwork has been a persistent challenge for this project, prompting me to take up artwork lessons to contribute in any way I can. While I had prior knowledge of interface design and good GUI practices, drawing anime or cartoons was unfamiliar territory for me. It took nearly three years of dedicated effort to reach a stage where I feel confident in producing semi-decent artwork, as evident in the promotional art I create for each major update. I consider myself primarily a programmer, but it's fulfilling to possess the extra skill of drawing, even though I may not always have the time or resources to indulge in it.

Numerous artists have been involved with the project over the years, even before I joined, resulting in a blend of styles that can appear rather odd at times. Some stayed with us for some time, while others chose to pursue different artistic paths, finding that drawing porn wasn't their cup of tea. There were also those who disappeared without a single trace (RIP Dostov ).

Only last year were we able to bring on a full-time artist, who admirably invested time in familiarizing themselves with the game's unique style—a quality I truly appreciate, given that not everyone we collaborated with was willing to do the same. Please bear in mind that during their adjustment period to the style, we had to continue creating content. Despite our best efforts to maintain quality, some of the initial works might appear a bit unpolished. Nevertheless, I consider this a worthwhile trade-off, as having an artist on board who is genuinely enthusiastic about the work and frequently takes the initiative is invaluable to me. Having said that, their recent works are exceptional, and there is hardly any disagreement or criticism concerning the quality or styles.

By the way, what you are witnessing is the reality of game development. What you see in the game today may not be final and could undergo changes, including the artwork. Game development is an iterative process, and it's common to revisit older scenes to make adjustments and improvements. Everything is on the table.

Thanks for your input, and I hope my response answers your concerns satisfactorily!
