The sex scene renders don't exist - but this is at least a way to restore the original relationships. I've played some AVNs where the iPatch is much more than a simple swap of landlady for mother. There are entire new scripts for those relationships using existing renders.
No modder can do that (easily) if the rewrite is built to stop/prevent that. It would still be a lot of work but there are modders out there who like a story enough to do that work.
The question becomes whether or not anyone is willing to do that work for WVM. They would also have to wait for the early rewrite to be completed before starting work so there would be a lag between the new rev of WVM (with rewrite) and the iPatched rev with new scripting.
I thought I would amplify on my previous post:
There are ways to tell the story and use an iPatch to change relationships and add backstory about why certain people are off limits (Azel, Cedar for example).
Reality - we can't create sexy time in an iPatch for certain people if there are no renders of sex.
so:
Azel and Cedar are both lesbians - they can hug and kiss the MC (along with some scripted dirty talk/adult teasing) but nothing further will happen because they are just not into Any guys - call it the long-term impact of exposure or worry about the MC's father and guys like him.
Cedar could even confess that she and Wendy gave each other comfort after losing the MC and that is how she realized that the trauma from her father destroyed her ability to see a man as a potential romantic partner - the violence just scares her too much.
There was a time when we thought Stacy was the MC's sister and storytelling resolved that mystery - she was not.
An iPatch could change that mystery to Stacy is the half-sister of the MC - the MC's dad was a cheater who really got around.
Sex with Stacy comes with renders.
There might even be another girl in the school who turns out to be a half-sister - dad was a cheater and he did a good job hiding it as well.
Bottom line - If BD gives us a rewrite that supports iPatch modding, a modder who wants to change relationships and some scripting can make the iPatch work.
It won't be easy and we certainly won't get MC sexy time with Cedar & Azel for example, but we could get sexy time with multiple half-sisters, based on scripting.
I also think the girl on girl (perhaps BD will give us Wendy and Azel sexy time since this should not threaten Patreon's TOS) could be very hot and add to the story.
In the end, I want WVM to realize some of the potential that was there at the beginning. Give us some basketball games, highs and lows, and sexy celebrations with the women as WVM overcomes the challenges of poor seasons in the past.
If WVM thrives, some possibilities open up, like the iPatch. For now, let's enjoy the weekly steps and hope that this momentum continues.
