Dude pretty much set himself up for failure in the long term. Game has a billion girls which means he has to pick and choose who gets content every update, updates themselves take longer and longer combined with his inability to stick to a date, and to top it all off the updates that do come out are short as fuck.
Looking back at the earlier pages of this thread it's wild how the dev went from being loved on here to constantly mocked.

i can't help you with such disillusions or notions but i could help you out with some advise:
You write like you don't really leave your house or comfort bubble much please do seek more interaction with people especially those whit different perspective's then you and do so with a open mind:that not only their perspective could be wrong but also yours.
this could help you at least see and/or understand general social interactions better and formulate yourself better to make others understand you better then just getting ignored and/or be seen as a nut-job.

Nobody needs a hive mind to know the update hasn't been posted here yet because the OP is updated once the update is released here. With that context, it's glaringly fucking obvious that they were talking about Patreon. That's that context thing I was talking about. Don't go making grand claims about you being an average guy when you're quite demonstrably below average.

If he releases it today and that's a (BIG IF) it will be closer to midnight est that way if he releases it before the deadline he still can say see I put out an update and I don't have to pause pledges for the rest of the year.

I mean what are the chances the 1 issue that could prevent this new "person" from the releasing the update "no matter what" just happens to happen on release day..... I mean at this point he's not even trying to hide it anymore
