As you said, WVM is victim of its own success. The pace at the start was so good. While other games have their first vaginal sex only after a year of updates (I exaggerate, but still), this game had everything and more from the beginning. Now there are too many girls, progression with all of them became more similar to other games - slow and chaotic, that is what I don't like the most. And I have headaches every time I'm trying to understand how mc manages to do all sort of stuff he does in one day.No problem.
Are you able to give some definition to what you perceive to be the drop in quality? (That's what MysteryCrabs is trying to understand, from you)

As for the last two updates, if I recall correctly, real life got in the way of devellopment so they may be a bit shorter than Braindrop wanted them to be.

Think what Sheppard could achieve in a day in Mass Effect, or what the Vault Dweller did in less than 24hrs in Fallout 3.
What did Gordon Freeman achieve in 24hrs at Black Mesa?
What the MC in CoD or Battlefield is able to achieve in 24hrs - cross enemy lines, take out whole platoons and fortress encampment & artillery defences/tanks, destroy an attack helicopter, dive/paraglide off a.... you get the idea.
Game heroes are not bound by the same laws as we are.

Depends I guess, I don't like peeking MCs the way they are typically done, but if, say, you walk in on your girlfriend in the shower there's nothing wrong with admiring the view for a moment. To be honest, I share that view. Don't particularly like the scummy way sneaking and peeping in games makes me feel, but having someone want to watch & getting off on watching me & my partner is far more appealing, (Not that it requires a great increase to reach said position)

However I am going to have to vehemently (but respectfully) disagree with you. That is to say, I believe the pacing needs to slow down more. Much more, in fact. We need some room for character development before we stick dick-into-hole. Once the first sex scene occurs... character development with that character slows or often outright ends. This is already manifesting in Jaime and Shauna who at this point have nothing going on that is not just "cheering up the MC through sex". The basketball season is, ostensibly, the "core" thread of the game's plot and yet we've not had a single game, and yet have slept with 2-5 main characters (based on choices), whatever Alexis qualifies as (the nurse was a fevor dream, it never happened), and at most 4 pregnancy clients (with 1 more in update 6). And we've progressed pretty far with two other characters we haven't known for long. Edit: Also I forgot that woman in Charles office. That's 11 girls you can sleep with by the end of Day 5, 2 more you can play with, 3 possible threesomes, and day 6 will be adding at least one more. That is... a lot.
The problem is, this kind of thing ends up being boring. We're not even 6 months into the project after all. I have seen in other games people quickly turning on characters they previously liked because there was no longer any forward development. People tend to talk more about the characters you haven't "conquered" yet, and people get disinterested if not outright hostile to the "early gets" (because they are wasting "render" time that could go to their new preferred target).
I get that people feel annoyed if it takes too long to bed their preferred character in a porn game. But I have to wonder sometimes if games are really the medium you should be consuming for this kind of thing. Wouldn't a comic be better? Or some SFM movie?
I personally want more non-sex scenes with characters. Something just meant to help us better understand the characters and their personalities and how they get along. One of the best recent example is the park date in Personal Trainer between the MC and Sophie. No sex, just playful banter and simple joy. The game started with MC sleeping in because he and Shauna were up all night playing games. Since they had sex, they've not really done that. Maybe they should?

MysteryCrabs I agree. I want enough story and character development to satisfy me as the reader of the story, I want to give a shit about the MC and the important people in his life. I want to care for them like it's written he does, to be able therefore to live his life while playing as him.

Hm, interesting thoughts, I think I can understand you. Even though I disagree.
All you have said would be good for the new game with other priorities. This one had its own pace, the one none other patreon game has (as far as I know). And now people like you still not pleased and people like me are becoming not pleased.
Character development is a great thing, but too many characters were added in last updates, just imagine how much time it will get to develop all their stories at a more slow pace. And it's work for one person, not for a game developing company. The start of WVM gave me thoughts that finally someone wants to do not eternally updating game. But I guess patreon won again.
What about other media: I think that these porn games are the most immersive thing we have now, so comics or SFM movies can't replace them for someone, who already felt what it is.
