I think you misread that scene. There is a reason Jaime's parting words were "There's still things I don't want to say in front of Shauna yet". The key is "say". Shauna was embarrassed saying why she was enjoying giving MC a blowjob. That's why Jaime left. Assuming that MC needed to ease her doubts about the threesome ignores the entire scene up to that point.

shauna feels insecure in both routes because of the whole bullying that happaned in the past made her that way, i think that is reflected well enough in both routes (and she feels insecure about different things in each routes ofc)
