Yiff.party is down or gone?

I was getting a lot of errors while importing but the posts did show up in the end, and I'm 99.99% sure no one else uploads what I do with any regularity anymore, so I doubt it was that.

I cannot login. It just goes to the recently updated page, without logging in. Tried clearing cache and cookies. Favorites are inaccessible. Also, when I try to report the issue the system insists my message "appears automated" and won't post it, so there isn't even any way to post about the issue. This is either incompetent or maliciously refusing to allow anyone to post about a known issue in order to pretend it doesn't exist.

Clearing the cache and cookies worked for both Firefox and Chrome, I'm able to log in just fine now.

The boards have been down since June 6th, and aren't owned by the admin. The admin reached out and was ignored, so not much can be done about that AFAIK.

Forget using Firefox, I can't get past the DDoS Guard. I cleared the cache and cookies in Chrome but it still won't let me login. What a piece of shit. yiff.party sucked but it was never this broken.

I also had DDoS check, but it passed just fine. Maybe try proxy ?

On side note, post/artist search works really fast. Frickin patreon to this day has no working content search (by post content, words etc.).

I don't know how exactly they work but you might need to keep the tab open and in focus for several seconds. Whitelisting only the guard domain in NoScript (in addition to kemono itself ofc) worked for me. Also make sure your browser is not blocking all redirects or scripts by itself.

Interesting. I want to try this (and I realise this may be a stupid question :p ) but is there any way to clear cache & cookies without being insta logged out from all sites I'm logged into ATM (its a LOT of sites lol)? Do you know if they've fixed adding faves BTW?

For Chrome, dig down into the privacy settings and you'll eventually come across something called "All Cookies and Site Data" (or just go to chrome://settings/siteData). Then just search for kemono and delete all that. Firefox has something similar.

And yep, adding favs is fixed!

 Then why do they have the board link on the site header if they don't OWNED the damn board? The sheer amount of incompetence ever since they reverted back from that U.I. change. Make me questioned how they manage to even run the damn site in the first place.

The site seems to be working pretty good right now, except there are random users that it says has updated but clicking them takes you back to the main page.

Thanks for the tip I did this and now I can login & save faves as normal :)

On FF it turned out to be more or less the same: (Options -> Privacy & Security -> Cookies & Site Data -> Manage Data -> search Kemono & delete)

Looks like we can import fantia content, so the last bastion for content creators has fallen. Anyone with favorite icon not showing under Firefox ?

Now, I hope that some good soul will import xxzero or CRAZY CLOVER CLUB. st,small,507x507-pad,600x600,f8f8f8[1].jpg

There's still Enty and Ci-en, as well as many, more obscure ones I'm not aware of. But yeah, I'm already importing my own as we speak. Unfortunately, I don't support the ones you've mentioned, but if they have backnumbers, this is now a recommended option unless they ridiculously overcharge compared to the regular support, as a backnumber now includes all plans and you no longer need to pay the full amount for every single plan. This is not retroactive though, so if you've purchased backnumbers in the past and want the higher (or lower) tier ones, you still have to pay the entire amount, not the difference, though at least you only have to pay once now.

Enty is extremely unlikely to ever be a thing unless Sofie or Shino (KemonoDev) manages to bypass the epic time rape in the API that forces you to pay several years upfront if the artist created their account ages ago yet only did shit like once every six months. The API also is pretty fucked up if I recall correctly. Fantia fortunately allows creators to opt out of their paid lock as well as social tippings, but I believe both are enabled by default (the latter is, at least). Fantia also makes it trivial to retrieve comments as well as previews so you don't end up paying every month for shit you don't want or don't know what it's about, so it's better than most platforms in this aspect.

(After five years, what has not changed is you'll still be sent back to unpaid hell and paid-for months will all be reset except for purchased backnumbers - which are not part of a regular subscription - if you ever unsubscribe or change plans, so be extremely wary of this one...)

The site was created as a partnership with ofans.party, meant to be a shared home for all *.party websites. I admittedly probably should've taken over the second Ofans died, but at least understand control was given to someone else for a good reason.
