But most incest haters dislike the corruption aspect. The relationship with Ruby felt organic, sure his daughter could be considered a little much.

Did you check out Rovering to Sussex, the other game Zargon's creates the art for? While it has few options where you can be a bad guy to some extent, it is mostly good and friendly and the optional incest is not related to the MC and if you disable it, you won't get incest with just some words replaced, but still a coherent, canon story.

Not sure about that correlation. I like the i tag but dislike corruption and it's sister (NPI) tags. For me they are usually opposites - most i games are more about loving relationships whereas corruption games are more predatory/abusive. There are of course exceptions, but I have rarely seen the two overlapping (maybe because I avoid games with corruption).

The thing is, that the incest IS, in a way, the corruption.
In a well written incest game, like this one, both MC and the LI need to overcome the taboo. Overcoming the taboo is what makes it interesting, but it is still a form of corruption. Even if the corruption is not visible to outsiders (like the classic corruption tropes e.g. slutty clothes, fake boobs etc.) and even if the relationship (apart from the incest) remains relatively wholesome.
To me it remains amazing how people can refer to "incest harem" games as "wholesome", but somehow it is common to think that.
You make a good point. I guess I just perceive the 'corruption' games to be more "forcing" (blackmail, etc.) than "convincing" as it seems to be in well-written incest games. But I have seen more than one incest game that includes darker paths with blackmail (even the Mia games started that way, and those are both at the top of my list along with this one and a few others) - I just typically avoid those. So maybe sampling bias makes me see incest games as more "wholesome" than they really are overall? But even I would never call an incest game "wholesome" - I am not delusional.

There is a fine line between forcing and convincing. There is also a fine line between seduction and romance. They are also not always mutually exclusive and the one that may seem morally wrong doesn't have to be so.You make a good point. It's a complicated topic. I have come to a conclusion of sorts: it depends on the goal. The goal (at least partially) justifies the means.
In this game, the MC is generally "good" or at least "neutral" to the end goals of the girls (as far as we know them). In many other games, the MC is just acting out of self-interest and doesn't really care what happens with the girls.
In pure corruption games, the main girl (MC or LI) doesn't end up in a better place then she would have without the players involvement.

Having balance and giving autonomy for both participants removes the feeling of corruption. (as you pointed out having positive feelings and the need to protect the partner)
Or with relations with imbalance of power when the participant is unwilling and the consequences are immense she/ he, Reluctantly accept. could be called corruption as the alternative is grim, ergo accepting a lesser evil. Being corrupted.
