Whenever a game with MTL being released, there will always people went apeshit on the comment section.
Though im fine with the addition of MTL/poor translation tags for the games, i hate it when people use it as a excuse that "MTL games causes REAL human translators to avoid re-translating the game".

Be real, these are niche games. There wont be a guy who are both versed in english and japanese and be willing to waste their time and effort to translate a niche porn game into english. They wont suddenly be like "oh, this newly released rpgm havent been translated yet, let me use my free time to translate it for free".
If the game is good/popular enough, regardless if its been translated into MTL or not; there will be either a official eng version on dlsite or fan translation being made for it. But for niche, borderline shovelware games like these, dont get your hopes up.

There are hundreds of good RPGM being sold on dlsite without any translations at all and i doubt there will be one, ever; and honestly i would MTL it myself if i know how to do it instead of forcing myself to play it RAW.

If you are that desperate, do a commission, learn Japanese, instead of blaming it on MTL

do not like NTR, also will more than likely not play this, but i gotta ask.. what is Netorase? i know of the two other NTRs, but the title says Netorase, what is that?

...is it where both people get NTRed from each other while also stealing other people's men and women, in the most convoluted nexus of NTR imaginable?

Netorase is when the cuck suggests and/or arranges the netorare.

People already have mental breakdown seeing NTR on this site, having the urge to go to the thread, stopping their lives only to shitpost about the game not clicking for them/kinkshaming everyone.

You can hope for any vanilla game to be translated by someone, someday, but niche games like NTR need to be pretty big for one of a few fan translators to pick it up. Thats why i support Kagura Games those days when they release a NTR game, there's little to no one that has interest in translating those games.

Back to the topic of MTL, sure, it should have its own tag. But some people need to understand that the MTL is the only translation some games will ever have. This game, for example, is rather short and i doubt any translator would pick it up. MTL it not good by any means, but at least it gives you context of the game, and that some times is the only thing we can afford to have. RJ248754 is one of the BEST NTRPG games i've ever played, and i advice anyone who likes NTR to play it, but it does not have a translation, and i actually understood a gooooood chunk of the game by playing it with MTL. I would support a translation by commission, but for my demise i can't afford it at the moment.

To finish my point, one game that was posted last year here in F95 was translated by a fan. He said the game was pretty much finished, 99% translated. Guess what? The game had 1~3 NTR events in his whole vanilla plot, and the translator refused to translate those. These, in my opinion are the true unprofessional things that fuck up any chance of the game being translated properly.

Very well said, I'd rather have MTL than nothing, that's why I've been MTLing a lot of games for myself, that I was interested in. Its not ideal by any stretch of the imagination, but that's the best we get most of the time and as much as I'm thankful that at least Kagura games started picking these awesome titles up, they can only do so much.

As for the subject on Anti-NTR fanatics, people who usually blindly hate NTR don't even know what it is. They assume its the exact same thing as cheating and because they most likely got cheated on irl, they have this vendetta to shit on everyone's parade. The fact that they go out of their way to go into a game that they will clearly hate just to bash people, says a lot about them...

But for the off chance some of them are reasonable enough to listen: NTR is NOT cheating. NTR happens when two people love each other and a 3rd person (villain) jumps into the mix and rapes, blackmails or drugs the heroine. Basically NTR is non consensual cheating and the heroine is as much of a victim, if not more, than the male love interest. And while I can't speak for everyone, most of us don't self insert as the guy getting cucked.

I don't know, being angry about getting cheated on feels very justifiable. A relationship of boyfriend-girlfriend is still a commitment, however shallow or unwise it is (if you need me to explain why a marriage is a commitment, you should get help).

And Netorare inevitably turns into cheating because by definition, the girl is inevitably given a choice...and she chooses (or decides to tolerate indefinitely) the other guy for whatever contrived reason the human brain can conjure. THAT is cheating, period.

And by the same definition, Netorare is presented to us in the perspective of the guy victim. We don't self-insert, but we feel bad for the guy because, except in a few rare cases, he doesn't deserve it (having a small dick/being busy supporting the family justifies getting your girlfriend or wife fucked away? Really?). We're sad or angry or frustrated or whatever mix of the three.

Being angry about getting cheated on does feel justifiable, however, getting angry about people enjoying fictitious content, whatever that may be, just because you were cheated on, is not.

Yeah, getting raped/blackmailed/drugged when you're married means you're cheating scum. These women obviously wanted it... They CHOSE to get violated, right? Not to mention they are often presented as naive idiots, so even when they could get out of it, they often don't, not because of ill intent, but because they're too stupid to know how. And marriage IS a commitment, but that obviously won't stop an "evil" third party from destroying it, by any means necessary.

As for NTR being presented to us in the perspective of the guy victim, I totally disagree. I don't know what games you played, but most of the NTR focused games are from the girl's perspective, and rarely from the villains. The male victim usually stays very undefined and unrelatable. They purposefully leave out any detail about them other than them being good but naive people, so you have nothing to relate to them and so you don't need to feel too bad for them. They might as well be cardboard cutouts placed inside the main house, just to make the story NTR-able. Hell they usually don't even get a face, which should make it even more obvious.

Anyway, I'm not trying to start a fight here, all I really want is that we all stay civil and stop bashing each others fetishes. Lets just stick to things we like and avoid things we don't. The hentai community used to be civil...

Yeah...I agree with you on that first point. That's why I support the notion of giving Netori a tag.

I also clearly stated the cheating comes from the girl, somewhere down the line, choosing the other guy, or choosing to tolerate his behavior indefinitely. THAT is cheating.

I have a ton of other rebuttals, but let's just say my dislike of netorare came from hentai manga and I detest my brother for teaching me about it.

You mean the community used to be small and even nonexistent. Nobody could voice out like this before, and I'm glad we can do so now.

Yeah, I'm not looking to start a fight either. To me it's just some healthy debate over a certain topic, the same way we would discuss something like 'smartphones for kids good or bad'. Mostly I just want to make friends with fellow degenerates.

I mean sure, that could be considered cheating perse, but by that point they've been broken/corrupted and are pretty much a different person. Is it realistic, of course not, but it works in its fictional context, which is why I like it where it is, in fiction. Just like rape and other taboo fetishes, that I am highly against and am repulsed by IRL, but enjoy almost exclusively in hentai.

Yeah, I enjoy some healthy debate over degenerate topics myself, I just wish more conversations would be as reasonable as this one, rather than the usual shit flinging: "-NTR is trash! -No, vanilla is trash! -Well, you're a virgin! - Well, you're a cuck!". I ran into way too many of those, hence my initial hostility.

Well, when blood gets to our heads, or when we're fighting over that last piece of bread in a post-apocalypse (not precisely, but...you get the point), we turn into evil, scheming animals. Or just animals.

There's one thing I'm curious about though. I've played NTR from the female perspective before, but I couldn't help sympathizing with the husband. I mean, just imagine slaving away to give you and your family a better life and your SO doesn't care a whit, but she'd throw you under the bus for some sexual gratification...it's pretty depressing.

With Netori (or in some cases where the husband gets over it/finds a new love), I can enjoy the corruption of the girl and the change it takes place, all the philosophical thoughts that come with coming down from a high. What is it you find so intriguing? What about games/manga where events are in the male victim's perspective?

(Just to make it clear, I'm a girl...)

So I obviously can't speak for everyone, but in my case, I remove the "humanity" from the male victim and the villain as well, to some extent. He can be replaced with literally anyone else as long as the girl loves him. Same goes for the villain, I really couldn't care less who they are, I just want them to be as "evil"/villainous as possible, the more loathsome the better (there's a reason for this, but this comment is long enough as it is). I believe this is why they usually make the male victim, a faceless blank slate, that some will self insert into, while others, like me, see them as a mere plot convenience, thus dehumanizing them and removing the sympathy factor. Of course I have played games where I genuinely felt bad for the guy, but in that case they had more of a character to them.

For me NTR is like a subgenre combination of coercion/blackmail and moral degradation/corruption. Which is why I usually focus exclusively on the girl, and the situations she find herself in. The male victim is there to make the impact of the girl's corruption all the more meaningful, she has something to lose, thus there is more shame involved when she eventually becomes something she hates. To quote a Vtuber "without true love, there is no ntr". Its the journey I enjoy, not the sad aftermath. If you think that deeply about every smutty game you play you'll sooner get depressed than aroused.

I don't play/watch/read things with a male protag, I would hate seeing the male victim's perspective. Hope that cleared some things up and again to make it completely clear, I exclusively enjoy this stuff in the closed off echo-chamber that is hentai, whenever it happens, irl or even in anime/movies, I despise it. Just because some of us have a more depraved fetish in hentai, doesn't mean we like seeing real people get hurt.

4 pages of nonstop bitching about mtl and ntr
This helps absolutely no one. Non-JP-reading players still can't understand the game, TA/Chiitrans/etc become useless, and meanwhile potential actual translators wind up overlooking the request threads because they've already been "translated."
The only person who benefits is the moron patting themselves on the back over their counterproductive non-efforts.
and this is such a bullshit argument that is sprouted in every mtl thread. This game would never get translated, ever. Espcially considering its ntr which alrealdy doesn't get a lot of translations. The technology inept dont use their own translators and if they do then you just grab the raw and ignore the thread which is a stupid point to make in the first place and you know enough of the words of where to go. When someone just makes a mtl for them to use and decided to share it for other people, like this one was, your just being a dickhead about it. Its fine to have an opinion but when its 4 pages of the crap its asinine
