Other than the dev seemingly completely forgetting about Rachel (only one with no solo ending/repeatable harem events, and still a placeholder text saying her story will be expanded "in the next update") I honestly feel fine about the ending. Is it the best ending to one of these games? Not by a long shot, but at least an attempt was made to properly wrap most things up.

That being said, the fact that the dev puts a tease in for their next game when there's still work they could have done to polish this one doesn't exactly leave me hopeful for how that will turn out, especially if, assuming the naming style seems to match this one, it will be even more ambitious in scope.

I don't think each letter in "PHOENIXES" corresponds to one of the harem girls' first initial the way it does in "VIRTUES" - iirc there's already at least one girl whose name doesn't fit. OTOH there ARE more girls in the preview art than this game's seven. But yeah, honestly I think they just got excited with all the ideas they had for the new game and rushed this one so they could move on. :-\

At least we knew for a looooooooooong time that it would end now (not the date but the update 17). It's not that he suddenly decided to wrap it up and end, it was communicated early on and everybody (at least on Patreon) knew about this.



A "poor choice of dev"? It is not like somebody wrote a game and then picked a developer - everything you mention like the potential are the very same dev.

As for the ratings, those are highly subjective. I completely disagree with your statement that it would "hardly deserve a 3/5". But keep in mind that your criticism of the ending, whether justified or not, is not something that most reviewers could take into account since those reviews are way older.

Could be. It reminds me of the original Phantom of the Opera (at least in the English translation). I don't know if it was a universal belief of the time, or just among the French, but the author portrayed the view that "genius" is not something one has, but rather a literal spirit that inspires one, much like a Genii or Greek Muse.

Just a little question i just finished the game yesterday (surprised the grind wasn't annoying instead i've all the time around 15-17k $$) , despite the MC looks damn ugly was a good story completed every girl, but once reach max level it said "love can't increase in this current version" , its mean there will be more content, story line and a true harem ending?.....

This game is not complete, on discord it is mentioned as there will be no more major updates so no V18 however there will be V17.something , not sure why it is is listed as completed here as there is still a tiny bit to go.
