I think this thread keeps DMD a viable game, it's a method for the fans to keep the game alive between updates. I do wish the updates could be every other month.

Would be nice but I can see why they went with 2 months of Melody. It's a newer game with less content so far and is the one being advertised on the Patreon. For anyone who came in to all this for Melody the work on DMD kinda looks like a developer draining away their money to fund a project they didn't ask for.

Go over our discussions. He goes out of his way to criticize my motivations. While downplaying any and all possible negative, for the community, motivations by the DMD dev-team.
Rehashing the past is not my intent. But rather to show that devs--in general--are no friends to our community. Not enemies per se, just opponents.
Anyone who massively praises devs I suspect of hidden motives. Financial backers, would-be devs themselves, cultists, whatever.
I reserve my massive and unreserved praise for ALL the uploaders on this site. This includes the moderators and admins, of course.

Yeah it was Patreon/Pay-Pal team up that began censoring devs after they had a previously approved project up and running but Patreon is the site DMD is on so for brevity fuck Patreon. To be accurate fuck Patreon AND Pay-Pal (they owe me money anyway).

virtuvoid is generally correct in the statement "devs--in general--are no friends to our community" I would like to point out a dev who is a friend to pirates, Belle (Long Live the Princess). The dev is on this site as much as any pirate, will help you if you have an issue, responds to questions, and gets into arguments like any other person on the thread.
Belle recognizes we don't pay but seems to value our input and likes communicating with the fans.
But the dev isn't using the game as a cash-cow, it's about creating something good. Ironically the dev's positive money is secondary attitude actually creates new donors.
Iin game Belle has a slutty pixie character by the dev's name which can get confusing in the thread. lol

Well I've spent 3 days solid playing this game and come to the end of the current update! Holy Fuck what a game! Even though I have only gone through once, I am addicted and look forward to continuing the story to a satisfactory conclusion! Want more NOW :-D
