Any news on when the next update will come out?
Currently not entirely sure. I'm trying to include 3 ingame days in the next update, but I'm currently still working on Day 1 of those 3. If I had to take a guess, I'd say some time in May.

Still working on 0.22 of course, but I figured I'd slap this here so that people know it's on the way. Highly requested feature, an in game walkthrough.

It doesn't tell you everything, but if you enable it in the settings, a tooltip like this will appear when you hover over choices that lead to sex scenes, or change the way your relationship with a character goes. It's still not possible to get all the content in one playthrough of course, but at least with this you'll know which choices are most imactful.

Not only did I learn the impact of the choice. I learned a new word as well!
This game is very educational.

pure slave route?

*downloading*
Should be noted that the slave stuff isn't in the game yet. The in game walkthrough will still show how to get that content once it's in though. Generally it's just gonna be "Reject romantic stuff, and punish girl."

Romance is basically just no punishemnts.
Submission is a romantic relationship, with punishments.
Slave route is straight up just treating the girls like sex toys.

I haven't finalised it, but I'm expecting the slave routes to be quite different in story to the girls' normal stories, since a lot of their stories just don't make sense if there's no affection in your relationship with them.

thank you for the heads up!
i'm interested anyway since i heard your mc is a dominant one. if thats the case i enjoy most things. but i definitely have a thing for treating the girls like sex toys. if i understand it correctly the slave route is not developed yet for any girl?
then i will probably just go with the submission route for now

always imagined that devs kinda have to develop almost 2 or 3 different full games if they include very different paths

sounds promising anyway! thank you for clarifying :)
Currently, you don't really start the routes for any of the girls. You sort of can, but it's more or less like "Route started, end of content for this girl in the current version." (It doesn't actually tell you you've started a route. Next version does kinda.)
Everyone hates it when content ends, but there's no way around it really when it's in development I guess.

Most girls are in a neutral state where their scenes aren't tied to specific routes. There is some punishment content, but it's not the main focus of the early game. Later on in development though.. Heh.. Despite the game having been out for a year almost, it's still fairly early days. These games take a lot longer to make than I expected when I started lmao

Worth noting, that it's not a game where there's just one chance to get on to specific routes. For example, 2 of the punishment scenes in the current version can be missed as a result of choices which aren't obviously connected. It would be a bit bullshit if it was like "You can't ever punish this girl now because you didn't pick a flower 2 hours ago" (Fake example, it's not that dumb), so in cases where you miss a chance due to a choice, you'll be given another chance later on. Though these later chances may not always be in the same version of the game, so it can seem like you make a bad choice because it leads to less sex scenes or whatever, when really it just leads to some that you otherwise wouldn't get in the next version. I'm making the game with the finished version in mind, rather than trying to make each update its own self contained chapter.

I'd say MC is dominant if you play him that way. I wanted to avoid making a total pushover, but he's not meant to be an asshole. The slave routes will generally feature him being a bit more of an asshole though. Submission routes are meant to feature more of a harsh but fair kind of MC. Only time will tell if I'm able to do this well. Since MC has only recently met the girls, most of their content isn't split into paths at this point, so you could call it neutral content. The paths are more for mid and late game stuff where you'll be getting specific scenes and sequences of events that only happen if a girl is on a specific route.

The idea is to not worry so much about the routes. It's meant to be built around the idea of the player doing what they feel like when given choices, and the results making sense in terms of the relationship dynamics. Generally, making choices that lead to a certain type of content, will usually lead you to more of that type of content.
It's hard to explain, but it's stuff like rejecting a girl's romantic advances, and punishing them at every opportunity probably isn't gonna lead you to a vanilla relationship with the girl. Likewise, being romantic with her, and deciding to never punish her most likely will. Getting all the scenes is a lot more walkthrough worthy than getting on to specific routes. (If you are someone who likes to know the outcome of choices before they're made though, the PDF walkthrough in the OP is up to date for 0.21 and fully accurate as far as I can tell.)

Currently, the only ways to lock yourself into a specific type of relationship with a girl surround whether you decide to punish them or not. If you haven't been given that choice, you're not locked in to a route. Even if you decide to enter a romantic relationship with a character, whether that relationship stays romantic, or shifts to a more dom/sub relationship is based on whether you decide to punish her later on. If you end up playing it and have questions about specific choices, feel free to ping me on discord. I'm usually in the server in some capacity.

This is probably gonna end up being quite true. While the submission path will feature content from both the other paths to a certain extent, I still have to make sure dialogue matches depending on the nature of your relationship with each girl, so there will likely have to be several versions of each scene. Stuff like this is why the game isn't all that far along yet, but that's fine. It'll take as long as it takes I guess. I like choice, and creating work for myself apparently.

Tried searching for this in the thread but didn't find anything. Apologies if this has been answered already

I'm confused about something after fooling around with Cassie for the first time:

Dev - "Would you like to allow characters to call you <MC's name> sometimes in the future?
Options are 'yes, characters can call me <MC> sometimes' or 'no, never call me <MC>'

I'm.. I'm not following what this option is meant to express. The characters have been referring to me by the name I typed in at the start because.. that's my name? What else would they refer to me as? Am I missing something here? I admit I did do a bit of skimming some parts, but I'm pretty sure that was just dialogue at clothing stores and the like (which I've read a million different variations of already), but it's possible I missed something important.

If so, could someone clarify what these 'yes' or 'no' options mean?

What's odd is saying 'no' doesn't bring up a box like 'call me this instead' or renaming your the MC or anything like that. It's baffling me lol.

No worries, this is actually a bug which will be fixed in the next version. What it's supposed to do is detect whether or not the name you enter at the start of the game is on a list of specific names, and then it'll turn that name into some kind of nickname. Think like, john becomes johnny, oliver becomes ollie, etc. It's not meant to ask you this question if your name isn't on the list.

Unfortunately, it's busted, and it results in what you're seeing. It'll be fixed in the next version. (Along with the bug about waitress not found, which you can just press ignore on if you get that one). You can still keep playing without any actual gameplay difference though.

The good news is that it doesn't actually make a difference on your save file. Even when the next version comes along, your save should still work on it regardless of what option you pick. You're not missing anything by your name not being on the list by the way. It literally just changes a couple of lines here and there.

Ahh, gotchya. Thanks for the heads up.

I think my issue was the quality of the game so far had been sufficiently high enough that I was thoroughly immersed in the narrative, so when I came across the segment it was like slamming into a brick wall lol.

I haven't finished it yet, but I'm really enjoying what I've experienced so far. (y)

Glad you like it, I'll hit you with one more heads up though. There's a section where you'll go to a cafe with a girl with short black hair called Sasha. Near the end of this section, you'll get an error relating to sayer waitress not existing or something. If you get that error, just press ignore. It'll be fixed in the next version, and after pressing ignore, it won't make a difference to the game itself. You might miss out on the waitress saying "I got 2 cheeseburgers" or some shit. Nothing important.

Figure I'll do this here as well since I've done it in my Discord, but not everyone who might be interested in this is present there. No idea if I'll get any responses, but whatever.

As some may know, the second-year girls are returning to Stormside in the next update. While they're all background characters, mostly there to fill out scenes, they still need names because they do speak occasionally. (And also I do plan some content for them, just not on the same level as the main girls). In the spoiler below is a picture of some of them and a general description of what their deal is. I need name suggestions for them, and then once I have enough, I'll put each girl to a patreon poll to determine what their name ends up being. (From the list of suggested names here, combined with the one in my Discord)

Any name is fine as long as it's not something crazy like Diana Dickbendersonn. Character spoilers from this point I guess.

I don't plan to explore these characters much, but I don't like the idea of having to refer to them as "Background girl 3" or whatever. Development continues with placeholder names for them at the moment, and after their proper names have been established, I'll just do a find and replace all on them.

Ahaha, I especially like the one for the French girl. Generally, their surnames probably won't be coming up in the game itself, but they'll still have profile pages I can put surnames on. It'll be interesting to see how the vote goes with regard to these names. I like em.

It's garbage and you know it.
Compared to what? Lol? XP was one of the most solid OS from windows Lol vista was crap (literally was only suppose to be an add-on for xp not its own OS) 7 was great, 8 was crap 10 was ok(tho with serious flaws) 11 is just pure garbage Lol seriously 11 doesn't even make the top 5 list Lol

you literally pick the worst OS from windows to call garbage windows xp and 7 still remain in the top 1 and 2 slots for best OS's out of the 12 Lol the price for worst of the 12 fall onto Windows ME god that pure and utter trash that even windows tried to bury LOL

I mean, I was joking but yeah. Basing it mostly on the way it looks. That's not why I included it though. It's just what I went with. The actual line is based on it being incredibly unlikely that MC would have ever even seen XP before, and it likely really does look like garbage in comparison to anything they have at the time.

oh right the game is set in like 2030's or something, but was confusing seeing a windows OS on a MAC tho Lol the future baby!

So question what the "scene hint" selection in the options? does it actually do anything cause i haven't noticed... or i'm just not that far enough in to notice?

and for a spoiler reading the walk through you have the option to be in a relationship wityh cassie but if you don't you can get a few different BJ's scene with her instead is one of those more dom/sub kinda scene the in a relationship kinda scene cause I'd hate to miss on on some dom/sub scene just to have plain valina "rommacne" scene

That option is a tool tip that appears on the gallery screen when you mouse over certain locked scenes, to give you a hint at how to unlock them. It was a first draft of a feature though, and it's a bit shit. In 0.22 it's replaced by a tooltip that follows the mouse, telling you much more specifically how to get the scene. It can be toggled seperately from the ingame walkthrough though, so people can pick and choose how much help they want.

At this stage the BJ scenes for Cassie are

ah ok but the future stuff to i want be in a relationship with her or can i only get the male/sub stuff by not being a relationship and just being assortative with her..

Might sound like a stupid question but ALOT of devs got in there head that only dom/sub stuff can only be on the slut/corruption path so basically what im asking is this also one of those games where the "girlfriend" path just mean vanilla

i know i could replay just to see all scene but i really hate having to replay games i find it BS just to play something again knowing 95% of the entire game just to see 5% of content you didn't see the first time through its not something i find fun at all so i like to maximize what i can in one run

Each girl generally has 3 routes. Romance, Submission, and Slave.

Romance is just pure romantic shit. Maybe some playful spanking and stuff like that later, but very much framed around affection.

Submission is a mix of romance and slave. It's basically "I care about these girls, but I still want to punish them." Generally to get on these routes (Once they're fully in the game), you just need to enter a romantic relationship with the girl, and then punish them when you get the chance. For some girls (Like Riley), you can do it in the opposite order.

Slave is just when you don't do any romantic stuff, and punish the girls when you get the chance. These routes really aren't designed for players who actually have any affection for the girls. In some cases it even skips the girls story, and just turns them into pets basically. Wouldn't recommend unless you really do just want to basically abuse the girls.

If you want basically a sub rather than a slave, you're gonna want to go for the submission routes.

Worth noting that since the game takes ages to make, not all this is in the game yet, but choices you make in this version will carry over, so this is more of a guide to how it will work, more than how it works now.

Basic rule, you can do almost anything you want in the currrent version and still get any route. The only exception is that if you end up putting a collar on anyone (Or arranging to do so), you'll cut off their romance route, leaving only sub and slave open.
