What are you even talking about. Most people here are annoyed at you. We haven't waited 2+ years for this fucking side track.
Instead of finishing the story you made a CHRISTMAS update that came out 5 months after christmas (like holy shit). And now you're trying to act like you didn't make it just so you could keep your patreons that were turning on you?
Where's the ACTUAL update? Does it even exist and when does it come out?
Why would you start working on a christmas event when no one was asking for it? Why didn't you use that time to work on the actual update instead?
You must've started working on this christmas update a lot earlier than christmas no? A couple of months? + 5 months after christmas before it came out. That's a lot of time for a side track.

Hello, I understand you might be annoyed. But it is not true that most people here are annoyed at me. Most of the users who insult here don't even play the game, nor want to play it.
I started working on the Christmas event the October 31st, specifically.

If you didn't like what I did, please, there is no need to support me or join my Patreon, you can just wait while there are other games to enjoy. I'm sorry for the decisions I took, I explained multiple times that the Christmas Update was a mistake, I even almost cancel it halfway through.
Even so, the vast majority that TRIED the update are happy. They saw the change between the prologue and the new quality, they saw what it looks like, and how much it takes to create something like that. A small minority here who didn't even want to try the update has zero-to-none weight in their words.
The update was completely free for everyone.
I even made multiple public announcements asking for people to NOT pledge on my Patreon until I post the next update.

You might not but someone sure does. This is maybe the most censored thread on the site. I've seen whole pages of comments disappear overnight, time and time again. Way more so than any other thread I read on the site. And they're almost all pages of comments critical of the game/development. Most the comments deleted didn't violate any rules. It was mostly just fair criticism of a game that has released 1 holiday patch no one really wanted in literally 2.5+ years. Either way to claim that most people support you and that most the people who are critical "don't even play the game or want to" is kinda silly. It was overwhelmingly negative in here in the months before the holiday patch. Then some brief somewhat positivity on release as there was at least something to play, albeit not the promised chapter 1 people wanted. And now? It's kinda just dead around here.. literally like 1/20th the activity of a few months ago. There used to be pages of discussions a day. I think some people are finally starting to accept this game will never be finished, nor updated in any reasonable timeframe, and stopped caring as much. Just apathy at this point, after years of delays and disappointment. Which is probably worse for you than all the criticism, tbh, or at least, not as entertaining haha.

I do not report comments with bad critisism, its your problem if you believe that.
Also, come on, people. When the comments (Including mine) get deleted, you get a notification with the reason.
Most of the times is "offtopic" or "cleanup".
These comments will also probably get deleted for the same reason. Including mines.

They are interested, despite what they say. No one is going to write an essay if they truly had no interest, they just having a tantrum is all. Anyways good update but will there be more Leticia next time? She's an awesome character that i think she should get more attention, she's a witch! :3

Seriously, though, do you get a kick out of being verbally abused? Every time I checked this thread, there're always people bitching about long wait and you stoking the flames by responding to every other message. What gives?
Also, it seems to me that in this thread moderators just doing their moderating stuff, I've seen them delete whole pages of messages before in other threads, nothing else to it.

I follow this game enough to know that, it's not like i'm paying them by the hour to really care. It's done when its done.

The messages that get removed add nothing to the conversation or thread topic. Most likely they are something that has been said a thousand times before. Moderators, through experience, recognize such posts and know when they will lead to flame wars in the thread so try to stop them before they happen as they add no value. If you feel nostalgic about such posts, just go back a few pages and relive the glory days of pointless hateful postings if that's the sort of thing you enjoy. A few words get changed here and there but they amount to the same thing. "I'm mAd *pout* "You're a sCamm3r *stick out tongue*" It's all been said before ad-nauseum.
As for Komi's claim that most people support him, I kinda believe it. Most of the negative comments came, in the majority, from a handful of haters that made repetitious posts and patted each other on the back when they made disparaging comments. All you have to do is go back to messages in support of Komi and look for the facepalm reactions or the negative posts with positive reactions. Pretty much the same group of people for all of them.
Most people who support Komi do not post in here because they know that 9 times out of 10 they will just be called a shill or white knight or whatever or they are just patiently waiting for the next release and feel they have nothing to add to the conversation.
As for your conclusion that people are giving up which is causing the thread to slow down, it doesn't ring true. The reason that it flared up for a while is because Komi announced that he was going to release content so people got more involved. Then the delays caused more negative input which sparked even more responses. Now that the release is "old news" activity has dropped back to pre-announcement rates with the majority of posts being people asking about the INC patch, save files and compressed version requests.
In the end, it boils down to maturity level and amount of patience. Those who have it usually stay silent while patiently waiting and playing some other games to pass the time while those who don't have it scream the loudest that they are upset that they aren't getting immediate gratification.
And yes, I'm guessing this post may disappear like many other posts have before. Such is life.
I don't give a fuck about the drama, like the game, just want to ask if there is any knowledge or steps from this Christmas in May update that will be applied towards more concurrent updates or for helping when the second part comes out, or however these updates are being titled/worked on?
