and once again ladies and gentlemen and gender fluid people with 2 spirits, stars, animals and the rest of genders. Welcome to 13495º edition of f95fight over who knows more about ntr and you don't understand the genre, a epic debate of around 10 pages begins about ntr and how complicated it is and who understands it better, who will win this time?
Fight? It's not that deep lad :KEK: . I'm pretty sure we are both being overly civil, although I guess the walls of text are intimidating.

PS, the TLDR is literally him saying "this NTR game isn't very NTR" and me saying "No, it's very NTR". Also it's no 10 pages, in fact already ended if you read my whole comment assuming you didn't considering what you said...

I was tempted to drop in another long reply anyway... because, while debating the definition of NTR and so on, on its own, is off-topic... Debating how the game and its story fits into the genre, along with the applicability of the tag, is not. It's less about being right or wrong, especially with this fetish of all fetishes, that's had its definition widened more than the holes on sluts drawn by Smash Daisaku, and more about simple discussion.

However, I'll respect the guy's lack of desire to continue debating the subject.

All I'll say is that I'm old enough to have gotten into hentai before VNDB existed, much less its definition of netorare. However, getting facts about anything before the early 2000 is night impossible for something like a fetish, since so much media has been lost that it's not even funny.

Thing is... the essence of Netorare should be that the SO, (or whatever if you accept other types) is stolen. That is to say, the person stealing her away makes an explicit and concerted effort to steal her, and she presumably tries to resist this.
What you're saying is not wrong but man time has changed. For 1000 NTRs we can find out there, 900 suck and have no actual plot, 99 are not even NTR (as this game) and 1 is actually good.

Things changed few years ago. Nowadays authors just want to put some H-scenes and label it as NTR, for Gods know which reasons, even though there's no characterization at all of the characters and their relationship. Shit sucks, we have to deal with it.

I do totally agree with you on what you said about the "point of no return", but it's not even up to debate on that, it's just bad writing. End of the story.

Edit: I'll finish by saying that in the past NTR was not about conquering a girl just because you had a bigger dick, it was about manipulating her and so on, there was a characterization of the events, the story were well written and made sense (with its limits of course) but today is, as you said talking about cliches, MC has small dick, NTR guy has huge dick, love interest sees huge dick and falls in love with it. Yeah shit makes no sense but it is what it is. Unfortunally NTR it's been now several years since it really started being BAD. You either play/read classics or not play/read at all games/eromangas with this tag.

I see not only Kagura likes to translate games that have been already translated...
Did this one have a decent translation before? As in, something done by a human who actually understands both Japanese and English?

If the answer's yes, then sure, the new thing might be redundant. If the answer's no and what we had before was some MTL garbage, then I'm all for overwriting its existence.

Nothing's as sad as a good-looking game getting a trash machine translation and players having to resign themselves to the fact that actual translators will now look at that game as "something that's already been done" and pass on it, thus condemning it to eternity in MTL hell. The absolute best thing that can happen to those projects is someone coming along with some proper work and kicking the MTL into oblivion.

Of course, this is assuming the new translation for this one is worthwhile, but you mentioned Kagura and they've done great at what I just described.

The translation is done by Remitary from Karryn Prison so believe me it is better than any that has been published
It is published by Remitary, localization was done by Cursed Atelier.

It had decent translation by Saikey, you can find the old version still in the OP.

Kagura censors dialogue and leaves games in outdated versions. Even with the uncensored art, they are worse than MTLs imo.
