Specifically, I was not the one who referred to it. I have responded to someone who told me about some listings I made in the options I chose that the most serious mistake could be because I chose not to have sex with Natasha. And then others have justified the fact that not having sex with Natasha was a clear sign of losing points by arguing that they were bullied and revenge was very important to her and having denied you was disappointing for her. I didn't say it, and I don't know if that is the specific reason for the drastic loss of points.
I hadn't read this part, but it's the only scene I can connect to your reference to the terrible choices for Katie to make.

however, it is wrong to say that the reason was not to have sex with Natasha. that choice in itself carries few extra points (Are 6 points relationship and 6 points lust, nothing more and nothing less). so at most ALSO that choice, but on par with many other "morally" fairer ones

by the way, it is also something you can easily verify with the "start at any episode." not fucking Natasha in no way prevents Katie from accepting your proposal

In the end, my not-so-positive opinion of the situation is specifically due to the fact that it doesn't matter what you choose, since if you want to follow a specific path with Katie alone, you will do it and it will end the same with the date of candles, sex and asking her to be pregnant . But the only change in the final scene is whether or not she agrees to marry you, and that is where the choices do influence. And I see it as enormously illogical that for a final romance situation, the I DO is based more on the lust score and not the romance score when I consider that the most logical thing would be the opposite.
It may or may not be argued whether I have misinterpreted Katie's character, perhaps, but that does not change the fact that the scoring method seemed absurd to me, as well as paranoid, because as I have already said, the development of the character, from a At first, she appears to be a bitch and a sex machine who hates romance, but gives you clues that that's not what she appears to be and that it's all a facade. Damn, but it turns out she was a virgin.
For me, the most logical thing would be that if you are given two paths, that of romance or lust, and the girl, whoever she is, ends up becoming your girlfriend, it is because precisely the options you chose were the correct ones. Hence discovering that following a path of respect and romance takes you to the same place, except with the difference that with the romantic path they reject your marriage proposal, because honestly it seems like a big mistake to me.

But hey, it's my opinion, you don't have to like it.
here i lost you. there are 2 scores with each girl, relationship points and lust points. let's assume that they are just names
but the lust points would be what? relationship points i guess.

but at this point in the game it matters little because the 2 scores are merged into one score and that's what matters

I "Katie, will you marry me?"
if Katie >= 666:
K "Oh, wow! Are you actually asking me? I... I... Yes! Oh, yes! Definitely. I sooo want to be your wife!"
K "Yes, yes, yes... YES!"
else:
$Katie += 100
$E24_KProposal = -1
K "What you did is absolutely beautiful. I love it. I love you. But marriage? [MC]... It's too soon."
K "Ask me again next year, you romantic fool. Don't get carried away with the romance of tonight. *Laughs* But I am sooo impressed."
I'm not really a code ace but the only other condition I can find is KDate, which you increase by going on dates with Katie, but this condition is triggered first, if you don't meet the requirement we don't really have the opportunity to invite Katie to the rooftop

the mechanism with the thresholds is always questionable, because for a relationship to end because you only said hello 12 times and not 13 is not fair, but here I still don't quite understand the problem

It's been years since I came to take a look at this game, is it close to completed? or did it fall in the deep pool of slow never ending updates? Would be sad if it's one of those that just ends up as milking...

It seems to me that simply many options that do not receive points are equally good for obtaining what one is ultimately looking for, which is to obtain a girl or several (if it is one of those games that allow it) in which one is interested. To give an example, the game gives you 4 options, and two of them are 'I really like your skirt' (which doesn't receive any points) or 'Your skirt is as long as my dick', and that is the that scores... well, what do you want me to tell you, but the points system becomes a bit of a lottery, because to me that answer doesn't seem so obvious... A game should be good without having to look at a guide of help in choosing the "correct" options because I don't need to play for that, since the beauty of the game is being able to freely choose what each person considers fairest. And by saying the fairest I mean "normal" things. Another thing that comes to mind, for example, when they are having their first kiss in the bedroom, and you have to grab her ass instead of her waist. Grabbing his ass gives you points and being a gentleman and not going overboard in a first approach gives you nothing. If the obvious thing is that you always have to choose the sluttiest option to be able to get 100% the girl you're after, it doesn't seem like a very appropriate system to me.

PS: I repeat that I did not say that not having sex with Natasha was the reason why Katie did not say 'I do want to marry you'. In fact, 2-3 people have said it, but not me.

i can agree that with some characters (Katie and Wanda above all) a classically romantic approach is not okay. and this rightly may or may not be liked.

however, it is not true that it is a lottery the end result, the reaction after each answer is almost always quite obvious (especially for wrong choices), there is no need for any walkthrough to stay close enough to the maximum score to not have problems.

it is also perfectly fine to play purely following instinct and temperament, but then it is part of the freedom to risk not getting the result you hope for. for example that the 100% "romantic" approach may not be successful with Katie is not that surprising (especially in the first part of the game), you are free to try the same that way but then it may be that you have to struggle more to convince her, maybe you will have a less perfect ending, maybe you will still have it in the end.

I repeat, the threshold mechanism is never 100% right, but here we are talking about a threshold 200 points below the maximum, a squeeze is likely to make a difference, it is true, but only if it is the fiftieth missed squeeze

I still don't agree because, first of all, you say that with characters like Katie or Wanda, romance doesn't work.
Well, I haven't tried the Wanda thing because I wasn't interested, but with Katie my responses and actions got a positive response from her, plus at the beginning of the game there is no room for romance, only choices to push situations to the limit: And for this I better list some:
- Katie's first appearance, you have to kiss her on the mouth in front of her mother instead of a hug or a kiss on the cheek like any normal human being would do.
- scene of the first real kiss in the room, you score the kiss, but then you stop scoring if you don't throw it at his neck.
- It turns out that telling him that he had a good time with his mother at dinner (even if nothing extra happened) or not telling him that the field smelled like shit does not give you points, and even subtracts you.
- massaging him with cold hands gives you points and not with hot hands (what a fucking difference can be so important for there to be that score difference in such trivial actions).
- massage your butt or crotch while sunbathing.
- having to forcefully say that you like her friends or let Debbie take liberties with you so that Debbie's score is over 10 and that gives you extra points with Katie.
- teasing her about her skirt for a long time and ending up telling her that I really like her skirt and getting a response from her like that's really cute, but TA-DA that doesn't score, the answer does that it is as long as his cock xddddd.

The worst of all is that the player is not aware that the answers he is giving are negative because, in fact, the story continues its course in the same way as with other answers, that is, Katie is sincere and begins to say what she feels for the MC, even to the point of tears, or saying that she's going to try to change to become a well-spoken lady, or catching her talking to her friends saying how weird she feels because she's in love, or having a feeling so strong that jealousy kills her.....
And then, when after the two openly declare their love for each other, and they start adding romantic things to the options, it turns out that they don't score you enough either for telling your girlfriend that he has a dick bigger than a horse (quote mine in an exaggerated way).
The only difference in the final development of the story is Katie's final answer to whether or not she agrees to marry the MC. Only that, because the candle date, the sex, and her request to get pregnant are exactly the same.
I honestly liked the game a lot, and in fact I was hooked on this little soap opera, and I was even satisfied with the ending even though I did not accept the wedding because I assumed that it would be resolved in the final chapter, that is, the 25th.

My surprise was when out of curiosity I wanted to play chapter 24 independently, answering the questions that the game asked you with the options that I also made in my complete story, except that I wanted to see what would happen if I hooked up with Natasha on the street. . to see what the breakup with Katie would be like, but not only did I discover that that would be a thing to resolve in the last chapter 25, but I also discovered that in that parallel world to my original story, where I even cheated with Natasha while Katie waited inside the comedy club, where they did agree to get married. That was when this whole discussion began and where I have been able to discover that the difference between Yes and No lies in the fact that the only thing possible for Yes is a higher score, and to get it you have to give absurd answers to what any mortal would consider abnormal in real life.

That's all. For my part, the discussion is over because it doesn't take us anywhere to continue debating about this.

the game has and keeps churning out updates, hell we are on the finish line. there was a delay for a bit due to some issues if i remember right but i dont think anyone was charged for that period and he let everyone know beforehand so they could unsub if they wanted to. so no this is not a dairy farm, if you want some milk maybe check out summertime saga theres plenty of milking going on there, ingame and on patreon

Nah, no milking for me, was really a honest question, since it's been very long in development, and most of this old games went down that route, glad to see this one is going good, will be waiting for that finish line to play the full game, ty for answering.

By far the best walkthrough I've used for any game, really like the new flowchart style. I can tell it took a lot of work to make so thank you for this
