That was a beautifully succinct and well thought out expression that you clearly took your time to get right. An idea that is no doubt true for a great number of players.. that said, I'm a caveman and I don't like anything that confuses me! Give me ONE (1) person to follow and identify with.. I don't care if he is 19 or 50! and yes, I want any and all females who happen into his world to fall madly in love/lust with him and be fiercely loyal "ride or die" to him and him alone! I can already hear the response.. "but if that's how you feel, then maybe this game.. blah, blah, blah" No! this game was for me until I started reading the reviews of this latest update.. I liked the beginning of this story. Anyways, thank you for taking the time and considerable effort you clearly put into your dissertation.
One word of advice: never base your opinion of a game on the opinions of others, certainly not those voiced in the main thread. Posts in the review section have a bit more depth usually but also there you have to think for yourself.
But yeah, if you feel that strongly about the harem thingy, I'd suggest to convert to islam and move to Saudi Arabia...
Although: No more rum for you matey! Arghh!
Man, can't choose between Doc and Jesicca. I like both character and this game really need walkthrough.

Unfortunately this update has cemented the fact that IR is no longer for me, I have to agree with a lot of the comments here relating to how the characters are acting; Kelly especially. Fair enough, you can't please everyone, and I'm not expecting it to be made to my liking, regardless, it seems this is a growing sentiment. On the whole the renders are great, and a massive improvement from Dana days, however I've also been noticing more issues with renders like artefacts, clipping, lighting etc. I know Ptolemy is incredibly overworked but I can't help but notice them.
It's a shame Ptolemy deleted his account again, in almost identical circumstances as last time. F95zone gives you unfiltered feedback, away from a Patreon echo chamber. Sometimes good, sometimes bad, sometimes constructive, sometimes retarded, but keep deleting accounts after blowing up over a comment isn't the right way to handle it, both from a PR and mental well being perspective.
I've been a patron for well over 2 years now, Dana was one of the first games I pledged to, and I've loved a lot of Ptolemy's work, but unfortunately IR and Alex just aren't doing it for me, whilst I'd already reduced my pledge to $1 a few months ago, I think today is an end of an era for me.

IDk why but this update seem forced. I get it that there is no future for Kelly-Andrew but IMHO there is no other character that deserves Kelly. Devs Should Have made Robert More intelligent not technically but socially and cuter i am not saying Slimmer, chubby people can be cute too and Even With All his shyness and innocence he gives a Creepy vibe. Also why Andrew is not even 1% sad ? i mean i know he wants best for his daughter but you gotta feel little bit sad for breaking such relationship. In whole game Andrew was most caring person but this update made him look like Emotionless.
I really love the art in this game.
Also, it's one of those rare times where I wish that the Dad could avoid sexual relations with the daughter. Kelly is not particularly attractive, imo, and is a pretty awful person tbh. Christine is actually a sweetheart and I prefer treating her well. The Andrew/Christine/Nicole storyline is *chef's kiss*. Hell, gimmie a Christine/Nicole ending.

Kell is actually becoming more of a human being in the last couple updates. She recognizes that she's toxic, and seems to be trying to change it.
True. Which is why I'd be okay with her falling for Robert tbh. It would be a nice end to her arc.

The Kelly-Andrew IS the story, I would be beyond shocked if after all this they dont find each others arms again, it just might take an update to get there.
With Andy being the Dad, he knows he has to give Kel some space, for her to figure out her own priorities. If that aint being a caring good dad I dont know what is.

Kell is becoming a bit softer this is true but also trying to work out what She actually DOES want, and who. In this situation it would be hard to be the dad, having had strong feelings like that to see her spread her wings and wonder if she would actually return to him or leave him behind and end up with someone else.
It does however bring up an interesting few points to consider...
* If she chooses her dad but wants kids... and he agrees...
* How open could something like this really be?
* What would happen if their relationship was discovered by say Darla? or other chars?
