Good game. i got the ending I wanted (Eve ending) by declining the advances that I could and not going on the diversity list.

That will help you get the nicer version of Mr. King, but the most King centric ending occurs where you don't get a position at the firm, don't accept a clerkship but do accept a job from Mr. King as his assistant.
Yes, the main thing for the primary Eve ending is not to get a position with the firm or accept a job with anyone else. Eve factors into a lot of the endings, but that is her main one.

Trying not to be too harsh (even though the dev seems to be really good at handling criticism), but I just couldnt continue. It feels like you are forced to accept the blackmail (and even reading walkthroughs leads you to this conclusion). Ive read a lot of comments here saying "it will get better" or "the blackmail has a purpose, just keep playing" but I think just the stress of being forced into these conditions ruined the fun and made me quit.
Maybe if there were some sort of hints that pushed you. Like if there was a color change on teh "career points" icon showing you when you go from safe to risky to you-are-going-to-fail. Also maybe some dialog saying "ill accept this blackmail for now but Im going to get back at them". The story pushes you to accept the blackmail and lose your reputation or lose the job. Doesnt seem like a fun game to continue if I am just forcing the MC to be a whore. Im sure there are "how to be a whore" games out there (chloe18?) that would fit that just fine.
I only got as far as right after the whiskey-tatt before I ended up putting it down.

I thought Descent was extraordinarily well written, erotic, and well presented. I would strongly encourage Ryder77 to do another story especially with the blackmail - corruption theme again.
I don't think the game got "better" as it went on, just more complex and the storyline developed. Honestly, if the subject matter of the first two chapters puts you off, you're unlikely to enjoy the balance of the game. It's not for everyone.

I think this is answered in the thread, but basically, you have to end up with the mean version of Eve, do well enough at the job that you don't get terminated, but not well enough to be offered a position as an associate with the firm. At the new years eve party, don't accept any jobs. This should lead to the scene in the picture.

pretty hard and pretty wrong as well.
that character got you annoyed. I get it, she annoyed me too. But thats by far not the same as not contributing to the story.
I got molested by a woman of that kind too, Eves part felt pretty accurate -for a game. its not fun but just because its not fun doesnt mean it doesnt happen or such people would stop. just saying "no" doesnt help with certain people.
so.. welcome to a bit of realism. a bit of realism which actually made this story become remarkable in contrast to the tonload of plots n stories around here which are pretty much the copies of one another and as forseeable as christmas eve.
How the hell the eve part was realistic? no matter if you choose wine or the other drink, you still get drunk and get blackmailed by her, for someone who its supposed to be a really "smart" thats probably the most stupid choice someone can make with someone you dont know SPECIALLY 1 day after you landed that sweet new job you always wanted
Edit: And you know what? after stoping and reading every single dialogue ( not just skiping ) i realize how god damn stupid and a pushover christine is, she never speaks her mind and always lets others get over her

A lewd game even. If MCs would act smart or sane there wouldnt be happening much.
You should decide what you want. Lewd games? then you gotta take the weird parts there, caus otherwise it wouldnt work.
There is a reason why we merely encounter such events and willing cumsluts in reality.
If you just want a smart kick-ass girl, Tomb Raider gives you that.
You got to judge by what its actually aiming for. You may judge a Ferrari by how much you can transport with it. OR you judge it for speed & style. one makes sense, the other doesnt.
