Question!

With this transparency thingy, rather than spend an age working out how to use sliders I was thinking instead of....

You all use the PDA in game anyway and it would be quicker than you having to go to the preference menu. Given you might what to lighten/darken the text screen depending on the scene background quite a bit anyway this could be handier.

Plus, being the lazy bitch I am, I can just move the text button to the PDA instead of having to learn a whole new branch of coding.

Thoughts?
Looks like that would work as far as I am concerned and anyone skipping the tutorial with Becca deserves all that he or she would miss out on in my opinion:p

Oh! More oh!

Full remastered One with all the new bits should be ready next week if anyone wants to try it?
Sure, think most would want to try it, just be careful it would not interfere with the hype for chapter 4 :)

Yes please! Put me on that list! *puts both hands up* Pick me! Pick Me! :)
Why does that remind me of the character selection screen of Might and Magic VI and VII?:p (Now if you never play that you either are to young or you missed out on some of the most renewing games of their day).

Hoo Raah!1!!!!!!! Opacity Slider Made it into this game!!!!
But .. But your transparency was O.K to begin with ....
Great minimalistic GUI => hope you got a great tutorial for it and some smooth transitions ... these features tend to lag the games or gate play time with ... well ... options circles of hell :oops::censored::unsure:

Also the Ophion sun might be missing those elements that are bad to vampy or have them in much higher doses as she is used to:p
Hummm, that is an interesting thought, what is it about the sun, are vampires like opposite Kryptonians? Maybe the will thrive under a red sun?
It's a riflemans badge that I'm using to denote them as marines. :)

And Thea? She's dead. I saw it on the news!
Yeah, but, but, I saw the commander on the news too, and he was dead! ...or is he?
I suppose the flight crew could get wings though.:)
Of course, there's a big difference! One will steal Chris' husband, the other will steal your heart ciggies!
Good thing you changed that, I mean, they could both be heart stealers...
Aren't all rumours true? :)

I mean it's been verified about Annie and the ping pong ball, no?
Hummm.... so... many... rumors...
How do you know what Annie actually did or did not do with the ping pong ball? That isn't revealed.
Well, this one time, at engineering camp...
Ren(py sucks, confirmed.
Until there is a way to stop it from making the extra saves in the appdata folder, I will agree with this.
Nice work and is it me or is Becca looking better with each day? She should sell that secret of looking better and better as gets older. :p
She has been talking to Amanda lately...
But Notty is a master plotter, do you really think that you or Ava could possibly out-plot her, even if you worked together?
She is also good a baiting us with teasers...
It's really useful for people with poor eyesight, the contrast can help them see the text easier. (I did a six-month study on it for the RNIB :geek::))
As one of those people, I wholeheartedly agree.
I concur. And whatever you do, Akamari do not, I repeat do not, post a demo of your game to get feedbacks on the general forum...
That is what discord is for, wait, what?
What he said. Otherwise you might get perfectionist asses like me picking it apart.
I needed people like you when I started writing...

I do like the new image of Annie, especially with how you moved her arm out of the way of her cleavage. The removal of the small table behind her, the texture of the floor/carpet? The lighting, a slightly more expressive face, the editing of the text to be red and show the emergency of the situation, the editing of the star map to show Ophion.

3 questions on it though. 1st: the console behind Annie just has a bunch of star systems everywhere, this seems like a really confusing design choice for a ship.
That seat behind Annie is where the main Navigation position is on the original model so I left that intact. Since we don't really spend any time in that part of the ship as the Navigator isn't on board I can see why it looks "Why have it there?" but there is a very small nod to it in Three oddly enough where Vanny thought the Nav was now dead...

2nd: The door? I think it is a door, whatever is the blackish thing on the right of the image, it looks weird as if something is sitting in the players view rather than being part of the ship.
Doorframe. Taking in isolation it probs does look odd as it's been a long while since Rah-Rah walked you through the ship :)
3rd: Is the far right of the image a stowing area or bunks? I thought crew quarters were a bit further back.
The bunks. Crew bunks are between the crew rest area and the cockpit. Again, it's been a while since you wandered in Vanny so totes understandable :)

Canto.....*tut tuts* as if I wouldn't have amended the tutorial ;)

But I gather that since there is mod to take the transparency out and it can also help some who find it hard to see (plus you put the idea in my head ages ago! ;) ) then why not have a bash at putting one in. So I did :)

Oh! And Doctor evil agreed to be the judge :)
Aww, I thought I could be the judge.:(

As you'll be defending yourself... (cosplayable?:sneaky:)

...and my testimony would just repeat what I and others have already told him on a number of occasions...

...I don't really have a role to play.:( At this point, I doubt there is at least a shred of self-reflection and openmindness in him, but maybe he'll surprise us...

Everyone has more or less different skillsets, so it could end up with so large a list of badges that players would forget what each of them indicate.
I have three thoughts on this. Firstly we don't know characters skill sets so every time we get new information the character box will need updating. Secondly just how skilled do you need to be to get skill set (Mike the unskilled Engineer for example), Finally to keep skill list small you need to be extremely general so it will not be able to give detailed info. ie Combat covers small arms, bladed weapons, blunt weapons, unarmed, heavy weapons, weapon systems then each of those can have several sub categories.

As an aside I don't really want to much information stored or handed to me. One of things I love about Nottie's game is the learning about characters and trying to figure out who has nefarious motivations. I don't want to have important information just handed to me if I miss it in game. (Just look at how much time I spent and still spending analysing the Chris/Kellie fight and gone from Chris exploiting Kellie to Kellie throwing fight to exploit Chris).

Question!

I for one would much prefer the PDA rather than preferences.

Skills and stuff seem more like something for the character sheets and the notes pages about them, no?

If it is easier to do then go for it. :)
