Depends on your path, it is avoidable on love routes, just be careful first few days in game. On NTR paths it is not avoidable and if you play that path you do not wish to, so fair enough.
Just be careful updates alternate, this month was a love update and next will be NTR.

Based on that answer I guess I'll be little more candid. So I've generally enjoyed the NTR within this game for the most part, aside from the sister stuff but that's just due to her not being given enough establishing content before the corruption. So when you say a overhaul, I just get flashbacks regarding the "Promised Content" from Taffy Tales. See I'm more then willing to give a new writer a chance, so I'll wait to save any judgement in terms of the quality until I've seen it first. But I'm not willing to wait 3+ years for it not to be added, only for more of the same "promise", which ends up being as believable as a New Years resolution to go to the gym more often. So I guess I'm just looking for something a little more substantial on how this remaster will handle separate content and if those plans will be followed through and not string people along for years.

If you're referring to the long wait for NTR with Taffy Tales.
We've long offered our patrons at many points a chance to vote to push the NTR content further up the ladder for a quicker release, and pretty much every time they push it back. NTR would have have already been in the game near enough a year ago had people voted and wanted it.
As for how long this overhaul will take in general, it has the benefit of being 3D making production speed much quicker, what make take a little longer is the technical overhauls planned to actually adding some gameplay.
Look all I know is that you guys have provided a sort of roadmap and have been more then willing to put said content up on the chopping block at any given time. Which is fine! It's your game do what you want, but if people interested in said content have to wait years with nothing to show for it they'll move on and wouldn't be patreons. This can be said for any content people are interested in and how people choose to pledge. I'm personally just trying to get an idea on how you plan to handle it here concerning content you haven't currently written for. Are you planning continue the dual route or to remove all other content except vanilla stuff and any other content will be put off for a couple years to be voted on if it even gets in?

I plan to keep a dual route approach, I have a pretty 'fun' idea how to integrate it but it will be straight forward for both NTR/Non-NTR fans that I think will satisfy all parties.

To be honest this is until now the game that does having both content best I have seen until now.That's good to hear! As I said before I've been generally ok with the way the games been handled so far storywise. With the one exception being the "roommate", due to to her entrance being tied with the girlfriend and not getting the time to show us who she was first. So I'm glad this kinda stuff is being addressed.
Well the patreon aspect is why I wanted to be sure, as I had initially planned to pledge with the next update. As I've been burned before, I just didn't want to walk myself into pledging for a specific reason/content and then find out it's getting shafted. As I could only base my assumptions around lostravens previous work. I had to be sure this game wasn't following the same overhaul method they did with that, where content was dropped and not brought back or kept from being added for years. Since it's been confirmed this game isn't doing the same thing, I'll still be pledging the coming month. From that point on it'll just be based on the quality of the work. This is just a thought, but NTR is unlikely to win any such vote for a few reasons; 1) it's a specific fetish that's somewhat niche 2) reading between the lines there is currently no NTR in the game (I've never played Taffy Tales nor looked at what it's about so I'm going by your comment here alone). If that assessment is correct, where do you expect people who like NTR to come from? You're not catering to that group. That likely means that people voting in your polls are mostly people who like other things. Asking those people if they want NTR added has a predictable outcome. Asking them many times is unlikely change anything.
If you're sincere about adding NTR, you could make the next vote result an ordered list instead to develop things in (Instead of A or B or C, you go A then B then C). Or you take the first step and start adding NTR without making a poll about it, with the purpose to attract those players and diversify your player base. Either option is going to alienate some of your current players though.

The game in it's initial launch heavily catered to NTR and left it up in the air the control players had over deciding whether they were on an NTR route or not until about v0.5 I believe. It frankly was at best stagnant, at worst, a failure and Uber recognized this, hence hiring me on to improve the situation. It's early supporters were hard NTR fans and one or two sticking around to see where it goes. After the re-planning, the game increased it's patron three times over from about 700 patrons to now over 3000. The truth is, even when the game was prior to my involvement catering to NTR fans, there was not the support there from that base, thus the focus was logically shifted (for the best).
I intend to add it eventually, I have the script written, but first we plan to integrate the 'Trap' content everyone has been clamoring for and the stuff we already promised months ago. We made a lot of promises on content to deliver, and we plan to keep them.

This is also getting wayyyyy off-topic from The Spellbook, which given a much faster production speed Being 3D is not going to have the same issues as a 2D RPG.
