Kagura has a habit of trying to reinvent the wheel, like the Emiliana translation where they added in a plugin to redo the animations and implemented it so poorly that a lot of it is still broken.

yeah I've though about alot when I was fixing the animations. They could of just uncensored the images and kept the code that works as is. I even told their teams now to fix the animations properly and did it myself and they couldn't even do it right after I explained how to do it. it's just an hour of work, but instead of doing it right they just decided to make a half assed solution that breaks it in a different way.

Thank you, was waiting for this one. Guess i should make a cheat table one of these times... very nice seeing one of their games back with the daily tasks or sister is trained... i believe this has endings with Sex Slave sister, corrupted twins or purity ending beating the succubus in her own game or something by lowering corruption with some actions... though well, for the scenes and stuff... mostly of us would go lewd route anyway lol.

Ok, while I get that Kagura doesn't do a perfect job, I honestly think that people need to lay off at least a little, because they're not considering several things here.
Kagura doesn't just do a translation, they localize the game and make it suitable for uploading to Steam, often when the original developer doesn't bother. Now, I know that sounds simple in principle, but it's really, honestly not. All of these games were made to have porn as part of them, so Kagura needs to remove a bunch of content and alter a bunch of code, and often enough, whoever's working on this won't instantly understand the original code.
Let's take the often cited ONEONE1 games. They have in-combat rape. Interactions with NPCs. Rape when losing. Fuck events... etc. Imagine needing to work on every single instance of code that governs these, and needing to rework it all so it doesn't show up in the sfw Steam version. Of course the problem doesn't stop there, because you need to then make this steam version in such a way that it can be easily be patched to re-unlock all that stuff. That's not mentioning the head-aches of Steam's own standards and guidelines for getting games admitted...
We also know very, VERY little about how much work the original developer does to help Kagura release a quality product. Nor do we know anything about the details of the contracts involved. This is a business, and businesses come with a lot of legal bullshit involved.
Is anyone considering the fact that some of the "reinventing the wheel" that Kagura does may be because the original developer wants it? No? Really? Why the hell not?

It's more a general mistrust of installers, since you never know exactly what they do and it's a lot easier to attach something you don't want to an installer. Also, an installer actually puts something on your pc, something you can't simply remove by throwing it in the recycling bin and then emptying it.

the problem is them wanting to put it on steam. For now steam isn't removing adult games from their store but that can easily end up happening easily. Not to mention that its a failure on kaguras part that they are cutting content in a simillar way how the later Yakuza games have a lot of content cut out of english versions but there its due to some execs deciding that english players "were not interested" in that.
Just focus on base release of the actual full translation and then work on a separate steam version if they really wanna put it out there.
Also as far as i am aware Kagura doesn't actually work with original devs they just get the rights to release games on the english marketplace and the original devs don't have much input as how they do it or any room to make any wishes to kagura about "reinventing the wheel".
This makes them even more responsible about the quality of the english release in the same way that devs doing their own porting like should be held responsible about the port quality instead of just spamming trash strapped to emulator ports like some major publisher

A "Cheat Table" is an extension file to a program called Cheat Engine. It's the origin of the "trainers.exe" or how people memory search stuff and make their own scripts to add on programs. I still don't know how people still don't have no idea of what cheat engine is lol... The problem with a memory searcher is that it's treated as a virus by some anti-virus or programs because it needs to attach itself to read memory on real time... some of the newer anti-virus already recognized this and fixed a rule to ignore the program though it's still banned in competitions or games heavy on online features/player competition... it wouldn't be fun to play an fps(shooting game) with someone invincible in the room... so, yeah. I'd recommend that u download the program from it's main page if want to use, tables are everywhere and for all pc games pretty much, people grab those table files into .exe and call them trainers or whatever if they want.
