Okay, thanks for the info.

However, this game is great even without animation. Dialogues and everything else make up for it. :)
Yep, I'm glad you said that because that's what I put my heart and focus into. I never understand when people say that they NEED animations, which count for like 5 minutes of a 6 - 10 hour game

Some people care more about animations, and sometimes in some games the dialogues/story turn out to be not interesting. Then, even when there are good animations, you don't want to play because the story and characters are boring.

So keep doing what you are doing because you are doing it well. And don't worry if someone complains about the lack of animation sometimes. ;)

animations are good but it's not something which makes a game great. I really like what you are doing with renders and dialogues. The longer scene with few renders is always better than short animated scenes. Even a few seconds of animation takes up a lot of time and i don't think it's worth it if it is taking up the time which can be used to make other renders.

***Important news*** Please take a look at this when you guys have the time!

Giselle looking positively delicious.

Also, I knew I recognized Ptolemy from somewhere, and boom, Haley's Story. Seeing as I enjoy both Haley's Story and Secret Summer/Picture Perfect, I can definitely see how I'd enjoy your new project as well. Congrats on getting things going!

I don't know, I have mixed feelings about this joint venture. To say that it does not affect your other own projects - unfortunately I have my doubts. Because of course the new game is "stealing" time! And there are also already some examples where exactly such collaborative developments have slowed down their own games and, funnily enough, the joint game is also progressing very slowly.
I would have rather wished that you and Ptolemy would have concentrated on your already numerous unfinished projects. But: I love the games of you both, (mostly PP and Rebirth) but I'm not a patreon of you and Ptolemy for financial reasons. So this is only my personal opinion, the decisive factor is of course your patrons. If they want it, then you should do that of course. But I'm not really happy about that for mentioned reasons. Hopefully I'm wrong.

I don't really know how other developers do things, but Ptolemy and I release multiple games every single month (obviously not me right now with the revamp but that will change this month)

We'll continue to work like we always have

Well, then it should (hopefully) not be a problem. What irritated me a bit is that you are now working on 4 games at the same time (3 on your own + now the new joint venture) - that seemed a bit much to me. But if you can handle that in time for your patreons, then of course it's ok.

This was my BIG problem with SW aswell. I decided to take a leap of faith. Lets see how it plays out.

How could you guys be irritated or annoyed when I have NEVER delayed any updates over the last year I have been developing lol. I have given you at least one update of one of my games every single month.

Picture Perfect - 9 updates

Secret Summer - 4 updates

I have even done an entire revamp in two months.

I'm going to let you guys in on a secret, or maybe you already know. Do you know I most games take so long to update? Because developers have other priorities like family or jobs or they simply want to relax and I work on a game every single day because it's a lot of work.

Me? I wake up, eat breakfast and work. I'm disciplined. you don't release an update every single month for the last year and then finish a revamp of a game with a nine updates without WORKING.

Every single time I have said I am going to do something, I do it. I have the timeto do these games and I love doing them so you will see them continue to come out frequently.

I'm literally working right now.
