This is no plot hole! If Max mother and sisters finds out that he spies on them since there arrival via hidden cams they would kick him out! Same thing like asking mom to kick eric out because hes is fucking her sister, because max want to fuck her...
However, he already manages the site, and you can see mini images of all the cams on the site, so it would make sense to make use of them. Spying should be something he needed to do before installing cams.
This isn't exactly a plot hole, more of an unanswered mystery, and would probably be answered if Max could speak to his father,.... or if his father returned. The fact is that the house belonged to his father, who was installing a hidden camera for one room, and before he could dispose of the packaging, he gave the house to his family and got out of there. Its quite likely that the father didnt intend to wire the whole house up, as he could have done all the cameras at once, instead of just installing one. I would guess that perhaps his father intended to record a future meeting or event that he had planned to be held in the lounge, but had to abandon his plans and leave. However,... nothing is certain until DS actually gets around to dealing with the backstory of the house. Who knows if he's even considered any of this. But to me, the House itself is every bit a character in this story too.
I agree, but, we all know that DS hasnt got aound to making images of every scene that happens in those rooms. Once he does it once, he'll have to do every scene,.. and every scene from then on, because players will then have a potentially alternative view of every event that happens, at various times of day. They may only need to be smaller, or less detailed pictures, but thats still an assheap of pictures to create. It would be a most awesome improvement, and would change the way that the game needs to be played.

I'm almost certain that Max will uncover something fishy about Eric's past (he's a con artist, an illegal immigrant, a fugitive living under false identity?), thus having the chance to blackmail him into leaving under threat of exposing him. Let's not forget that Eric has a video of Max and Kira together (at least in the unmodded version of the game), so Max must have strong evidence in his hands in order to convince the fucker to run away without fighting back.

Yeah, there seem to be a lack of development regarding how people treat each other. You would think that the whole Alice thing would be touched upon with her being the focus of last update. Yet she still is acting the same as before. At least there is a new reply to mom if she catches you watching her shower. Seems the developer is only focused on new content at the time. Would be nice to touch upon the conversation between the characters, it should reflect the past events.
You can actually play the unmodded version and avoid Eric getting a video of the two of you. It just takes som grinding and planning.

DS wrote that there might be a second way to get rid of him but, at the moment, I cannot imagine what could that be. Obviously, Max is too weak to fight (but maybe ten online lessons of Kung Fu will turn him into Bruce Lee...

Either way it'll cost Max some money, either paying off Eric or supporting Mom. There's going to have to be an easier way to manage that webcam business, or another source of income (Selling drugs?), just to make it less of a grind (logging into laptop, going to site, hitting advertise, every time someone is going to have sex), and support all these women.

Regarding the mom losing her job, I too believe it has to be with Eric being angry for losing, and or he gets exposed as the criminal he is. The developer has said that there will be two ways to get rid of Eric. But right now there is only one. If he has time, he might implement the second this update. Time will tell.That's why I don't play the unmodded version any more.

The way I see it, she loses her job either because he fires her out of spite, or because he is exposed as a criminal and the company decides to fire her too as his assistant.
He don't need to make it. He could use the mod that is already made here. I'm pretty sure he knows 100% that this thread exists. And I'm pretty sure he follows it!
