Greetings friends,
I hope everyone is doing great and staying healthy. We have two major announcements to make today, and we are truly grateful to be able to share this with all of you.

First Announcement: Milky Touch will be finished in January 2022.

Second Announcement: Our next game, Neon Touch, will be online in Early 2022.
P.S. Our patrons will have access to the testing version in June 2022.

Let me start by saying how much we appreciate all of you. The support you’ve offered Milky Touch through the years has been amazing and it has kept us energized through this incredible journey. We owe everyone who pledged to the game or even just helped spread awareness of it a big debt of gratitude.

Now, please let me elaborate a bit on the First Announcement.
The decision to conclude Milky Touch is tough for everyone. The adventure of building a game from scratch can hardly be described with simple words. Together, we overcame a lot of challenges and difficulties.
That, alone, is beyond amazing.
There are several reasons why I decided it’s time to bring Milky Touch to an end. The most prominent reason; the brutal truth for me and for the team, is that financially speaking, I can not keep MT going for too much longer.
In other words, we’re in a Go Big or Go Home situation.
The team and I have decided to Go Big. So following the Mossland Chapter, the story will officially enter its final stage. We have planned a solid ending for everyone and all the major routes present in the game. And after that, we’ll start developing our upcoming game - Neon Touch. You can find out more information regarding this project in the following post.

There will be Two More Updates and roughly Twelve New Scenes.

Ending Chapter One (Chapter 21) will feature Five Scenes and will be ready in Mid-October.

Ending Chapter Two (Chapter 22) will feature Seven Scenes and a hidden ending! The plan is to have Part Two, the final conclusion of Milky Touch, available in Mid to Late December, before Christmas.

The team and I are all extremely grateful to have Milky Touch, and all of you guys, as a significant part of our lives these past two years. Even though Milky Touch is not a perfect game, we tried our best to make it something special. Still, on the plus side, we have learned many lessons during the game development process. Sure, we have regrets, but more than that, we have a passion to improve our craft, to build something even closer to perfect with our next game.
So remember, just because one chapter is ending, it does not that Studio Kuma’s book is finished. I think now is the right time to introduce you guys to the new game that we will be working on once Milky Touch is completed in December.

Milky Touch did not get enough $ traction so the dev and his team had a choice - stop creating Anything ... or ... Try creating a different story using the same art style that makes it unusual and special relative to the same models that we see in so many stories.

This is what their 'Go Big or Go Home' comment meant.

Who knew that RL costs for an AVN, like a place to live, food, electricity, hardware, the time of very capable artists, and voice acting would, for example, cost $?

How many people have spent hours playing this VN and never given the creators $1?

Milky Touch will at least get some kind of ending, unlike so may good to great VNs that are enjoyed by many on pirate sites like F95 but never supported enough to survive through time - and get abandoned.

Is there a proper adult video game company in the west (like Illusion from Japan)? This should be a gold mine opportunity and the developers should go full professional rather than amateur crowdfunding campaigns which unfortunately is rife with scams, procrastinations and rushed/half-assed contents. I'm sure most ppl are willing to pay for a completed game rather than spending several dollars and wait for years on a project with uncertain outcome unless they have enough money to spare.

We have lots of professional game companies that don't require crowdfunding to create a game and sell completed stuff, but I don't know why they are not testing waters for adult stuff. I mean some renowned brand like Meet&Fuck should develop full-scale adult games and make money rather than depending on outdated small flash games.

The developers say that is going to be concluded, but abruptly finishing the game in the middle of the story, when some branches (the aunt, the sister, the club, Riley's mother) have almost no content, should be called what it is - abandoning the game.

The developers hope that their new game is going to get more financial support, but I highly doubt it.
The first thing - they are already making a lot of money considering the current Patreon situation. Only very few of the most popular games make more than 3300 dollars a month. Yes, it is easy to look at Summertime Saga and all that money they are making and think you can make it too. But such games are an exception, not a rule. There is no easy money on Patreon now, it is not like it used to be 3-4 years ago. Partly because the competition is much harder now, partly because of all that Covid-19 financial difficulties for many people. Maybe 3300 dollars is not enough for them, but my guess is 99% of developers would dream about such an amount of support. To make more money a game should really click with a wide audience. But it is a rarety, you really need to be lucky for it to happen.

Second, frankly, there is nothing to justify more financial support if the amount of content they produce is going to be the same. The artist can draw only a limited amount of pictures every month. And so updates are tiny and have very little content. It takes two months to wait for a new version of the game and about 20 minutes to play it.

And third, all that Cyberpunk content - games, movies, and so on - doesn't look to be very successful and popular. I noticed that the main developer is a big fan of such a setting, but the patrons need to like it, not the developer. It is a different thing.

I'm afraid the developers are going to invest a lot of money into starting a new project. Then they are going to get the same amount of support at best and the whole situation of abandoning the game is going to be repeated. They abandoned No More Golden Days. They abandoned Milky Touch. They are going to abandon Neon Touch.

Karen is Not a love interest for anyone in this VN except for the woman she sees in the mirror.

She is a user and delights in control and manipulation and the MC is just another tool for her machinations (like stealing information about his Aunt, Katelyn, a powerful political figure).

The MC has only 3 love interests - Claudia, Octavia, and Riley.

These are the only 3 women that the MC can invite to Mossland.

He can also have sex with several other people, Karen included, but any sex with a Karen who is awake is just a reward from Karen for either services rendered or a down payment for services she wants the MC to perform.

Either you have not taken the time to actually read through the dialogue and are making a judgment on just imagery without Any understanding of context

Or

You have the attitude that all sexual acts in any story Must happen with the MC because he owns All women in the story.

Men don't Own whores, they rent them. Karen is a whore for power.

Claiming NTR because other men are renting the whore you like who has NEVER returned your affection demonstrates an absolute lack of understanding of what NTR (Netorare) actually is.

Karen is the MC's principal, he is one of her many students, NO other relationship exists in the Milky Touch story between these two people.

If you are going to Insist on misusing the NTR tag in a way that the F95 moderators and AVN creators do not intend, you will be greatly disappointed by hundreds of the AVNs here and on any pirate site.

It's my understanding, based on comments made on the Patreon site for Milky Touch, that there was one Major $ supporter (>$1,000/month in support) who helped keep Milky Touch going for awhile.

If he told Kuma that his support would have to end in X months (and I don't know that this did/did not happen), then this would force Kuma's hand regarding being able to keep Milky Touch going.

Earlier in the story, I believe we had voice acting for Claudia, Karen, Octavia and Riley.

Currently, only Claudia is getting voiced and Kuma hopes to finish MT with both Claudia and Karen.

MT is ambitious as there are very few AVNs that have major voice acting (Inceton's Echoes of Lust, Season 1 is the only other one that comes to mind).

As much as I like the voice acting, I'd give that up for Neon Touch to be fully developed and delivered to supporters.

And I insist, there's probably a reason for that. The writing in the game wasn't stellar, I'd say it has some of the most annoying characters I've ever encountered in these games, and I only played like 15 mins. But I insist, the worst offender is not having an identity: The game and the devs advertise the game as some sort of vanilla game (look it up) when evidently it has unavoidable NTR and takes people like me by surprise. And understandably this is something that doesn't sit well with a lot of people.

They either cater to specific groups, or they don't. The art is amazing, and a lot of other games with art as good but with solid plots do better. It's a shame it's going to be dropped, but good riddance, nothing of value was lost.


If you are going to waste time and resources drawing a scene with an unavoidable footjob scene done to someone else than the MC with a character that you basically have to go through a mandatory scene in the beginning of the game, while the MC is clearly interested in her, when you could have allocated resources in actual popular characters like the mom, and then claim the intention was not to make it NTR, then I don't know what to tell you.

The developers shot themselves in the foot, and the thread continues to be mistagged. Oh, and voice acting is a pointless waste of resources that only eats money.

So you have spent more time complaining about Milky Touch, an AVN you are taking for free on a pirate site, than you actually did playing it.

The scene you are calling NTR is actually part of an attempt by the MC to blackmail Karen - and an integral part of the story setting up future content. NTR requires a relationship, which does not exist here as I explained in my earlier post which you quoted but then ignored anything that did not fit your narrative.

The tag you seem to be looking for is not NTR... It is:

Triggered - as in you took something for free and you did not get what you wanted from your 15 minutes so you are triggered.

Perhaps F95 can add that tag for you.

While the argument regarding Karen's footjob and NTR is flawed for all of the reasons already pointed out (ie there was no relationship), a better argument could be later on if you sniffed Karen's panties, and then your 'friend', Victor, demands items from Claudia, despite the overall tone of the MC being reluctant to let him.

Now, one could argue fair is fair, but he ends up taking far more liberties than the MC.

Completely avoidable, sure, just dont sniff em, but that act and the followup act are not immediately connected, so can blindside the MC, especially since there doesnt seem to be a way out of it once you're on that path.
