Well, not that I defend the author, but I think he wanted to say, VN mode is now easy, and former easy sandbox is medium difficulty...

I just found a section of the code that may just prove you may darn well be correct (although I stand that the changelog blatantly says " Removed the medium sandbox difficulty "). But in the section of the code where one goes to the map the conditional does NOT check if the current playthough (save) is medium, it checks if it's on easy. If it's easy then it sets the medium variable to True.

So now I have to track down why folks that supposedly are loading medium difficulty sandbox are having the issues. I'm starting to wonder if they are actually loading easy difficulty sandbox thinking they are medium. I'll keep digging but likely in the morning, it's almost midnight here and I've been up since 4am.

well that works i guess "version8a = True" as soon as you load your last save before you enable console you drop that in and it doesnt bug you with saves compatible might not work,
but no matter how you skip that , you still for start without money , have to do the notebook quests (well those you can buy one after another, now ill have to find out proper way of doing it again) , and when ever you click on biggest house (the mansion) on map it kick you at start of game, where you got choice to skip 1st chapter yay , dont even know how many chapters are and with whom lana is in relationship that dush or you, what ever, forgot all that, but you do end up i guess in chapt 2 sandbox.
shitty thing to do to players all i can say and confusing

I am right after i heard her being on the phone with the douche, then the game tells me to knock on her door in the evening however if i do that i just get that i have nothing to do here. Am i f***ed? I have played a lot of days since then so I have no idea what i have to do to get in.

in current state its highly possible whole thing is mess, otherwise could also be that you have to be there at certain day (mon/sun) evening

yeah i got same thing otherwise went to check, game says knock while i got key and can walk in so nothing triggers , fun

Even better! I know i selected that i don't really like yoga when she asked at the start of the game, now on Saturday at daytime if I click on the door i get a message that she is doing yoga at the back. I go there and nothing is there... Is it meant to be like this? Because if it is then it's kinda stupid. I should be able to see her doing yoga even if I don't really like doing it.
Why I have that feeling that playing sandbox mode which should be the default is completely useless and buggy as hell?
(PS: I actually really like the game because it looks nice, have a nice story, there are a lot of likeable characters, but it's really frustrating that i can not progress)

Last time i played this it ended at the part with MC and Robin's mom in MC's apartment. Does this new update continue from there or not? I only played the VN

So is the new scene with Robin and Lana only in the sandbox mode? I went through the whole game in VN and it stopped after the scene with mom. Did I just miss something?

Damn...I've installed the v0.8A (along with Sancho Mod) and try to advance in the Tuxedo mission but when I click on the Mansion the game restarts from the beginning.

EDIT: I had to modify the variable " sawthemafiainthetuxedo " to 1 in order to bypass the problem...

Was planning to try this out then saw the most recent review. Anyone know what scene they're referring to? If so is there patch to reinclude it or anything? Just ain't a fan of removed content if it's due to patreon reasons.

Well, then it's an issue with the dev and his scripting talents. I can look at it but so far the mod doesn't change ANY of the original scripts at all....not one single change to them. TBH you're going to find bugs all over the place in this...get the Raid can out w/ me as I can only spray those suckers so much .... and I appreciate the kind words, sincerely.

Tried to delete all the saves and persistent from the game folder and the ones in the AppData and reinstalled the game and the MOD. Still the same issues as I stated before. I'll just wait for the next version

well sandbox is broken mess atm, it whether force you in to vn or make you replay half the content and there are new issues, bugs ,
like for example common one i think i restarts quests from chapter 2, game ask you to knock on the door, but you already got the key and can simply walk in, so scene dont trigger
