Usually after finishing one level: on the ground just after the fight with the main boss of the level, on a shelf in one of the room, and so on... They are spotted with a green star.
what do you mean the main boss? all i get are roaming spirits and citizents. I kill them all but they respawn so i dont know what to do
The main boss appears when you (try to) destroy one of the magic circles. If you've still not seen one of them, it's probably because you've not explored all the rooms.
Of course, some rooms are not available during the game (especially at the beginning), but it's because of the main logic of the game: explore all the rooms available in the current chapter (i.e. level), find the circle corresponding of the current chapter, defeat the boss when destroying the circle, get then one (eventually two) key to access to the other rooms previously unavailable, and so on ...
Of course, as any RPG game, it's also important to visit (and eventually re-visit) all the maps (i.e. rooms) (AFAIR, 1 or may be 2 keys can be obtained directly in a room).

After having completed this game. I must say that this was actually one of the better games that i played in a long time.
Just wished that it was animated. But worth the play for sure.

My favorite circle in last 2 years and an actual translation. I know its supposedly a heavy edited MTL, but at no point it feels like one and it sounds more like a proper translation. Hell even the tutorials that were shown as images got translated which usually even some fantranslators skip on doing. This guy put some serious work into this "MTL".
Full save folder, just extract and put the contents in the game's "save" folder. Then pick the one with most playtime. Or just do what ever you want.

Take the stairs closest to the save room, right most blue door should have the key to that room, left most has a H-Scene
