A few things:
1) More important than face-presets would be body-presets in my book. 85% of all female look super obese (and i'm playing in London, not NY ...
). Yes you can edit them (hurray for that!), but still.
2) The tutorial-gui needs some rework. Texts from different windows are overlapping and it's hard to read, especially when starting fresh.
3) Some more pointers for beginners would be nice. Stuff like "hey, you should look for this symbol: <work>" and "search for a nice place where you can live". It was a bit strange and confusing: starting in the middle of London as super-multi-billionaire in a fine suit - but as it seems i'm homeless and it's 1am...
4) There seems to be a strange discrepancy as to when events trigger. Once i was at home and was creatively writing and my sister introduced me to like 15 people in a row, 5 people called me to hang at random places and the Queen came over and said "You are the most awesome person in this city. You should be King. Hail you!" (i might or might not have dreamt the last part). 2 days later i'm out with my sis. She's attracted to me, arousal is high, the tension is at 100%, we are drinking and socializing like there's no tomorrow ... nothing. Had the "hey let's play i show you mine.."-event, so the mod is on i guess, - but been running around for days and nothing happens. Not just with her. Just veeery few events at all. Only thing i do get? Political debates when visiting the theatre. Grrrreat.
5) I can't socialize in my own house, even if i'm with a companion. Weird.
6) I needed a long moment to understand that "Add relative" creates an entire new being and doesn't just copy the contact in my phone or something. Why? Because i pressed it 4 times and then wondered why i had 4 times "Alison Black" and "Allison Black" in contacts. Two days later my guy thought about setting up his sister Alison with his good friend Allison G. I also talked with my neighbour Kevin, my sisters friend Kevin and my boyfriend Kevin (straight male. Game created a boyfriend. Alrighty, i get the hint). Might want to add a little name diversity here. How about Alleyson and Cevin?
7) Do cars actually do anything? I seeeem to be faster, but i'm not even sure about that?
8) It would be cool for the search function to just filter by building type ... if you want new shoes, you should just type in "shoes" and have the results sorted by proxy. Don't know if that function is in, seems like a very basic thing to include, but if it is, i can't seem to find said function ingame. :/
9) A few more infos in general would be nice. What does inviting out and then doing something person X (lets say ... Allison) enjoys or hates actually do, stats-wise? Maybe a seperate window that shows recent stat-changes would be a good idea?
Very exciting project. Will keep an eye on it. Does Loverslab already have more mods for it? Been a while since i logged in there... don't know if i even remember my Acc...
