Me too. I'm going through some serious harem fatigue. It's an actual turn-off at this point. Like, I'm no longer willing to suspend disbelief to that extent.
Good luck to you. It's too late to adapt your story to nonsense like mine, but I find that harem games with a dependable protagonist are an easier sell than those with a total nobody kid or a blank slate. Taking the personalities of your other characters seriously goes a long way to sidestep the least convincing tropes.
