Even less people sending money? Because I wouldn't be any more if I was donating to a game that put the sex scenes for the one I was paying for in a spin-off instead just to spite me.

It's not "just to spite" anybody. The dev has explicitly said he can't see a way to put scenes in the original game without it feeling forced, given the situation and danger for the characters currently. Then, when he asks for suggestions, all anyone can seem to say is, "You're the dev, figure it out!" That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. So, it's super easy to figure out where to put a sex scene, as evidenced by the fact that no one seems to have any ideas? [sigh] I just can't with some people.Even less people sending money? Oh I wasn't saying it to insult the game or the dev just thought it was funny that the positive review mentions something that could easily be seen as an insult. The main game is perfectly serviceable but isn't really my speed (issues with lack of lewds aside) so I for sure won't be trying the equivalent of a wet dream that I skip in every game that has them haha.
Edit: don't think I made it past the first few chapters but is there a reason that the characters can't make an irrational decision in a time of crisis? I don't know what's happened recently but a character trying to gain control over some aspect of their life/trying to have an "outlet" for frustrations (sexual or otherwise) seem to be valid reasons?
Might be a good game, no way to tell with the censorship. Creator's choice obviously, but the reason for so few reviews and it being so badly reviewed is that decision. You would think having a much much better rating as the game deserves would be a good tradeoff for releasing the actual game.

Fair. IJS that the reviews for this game are fairly untrustworthy and not generally a reflection of what to expect from it. Parts of them are accurate, but there is exaggeration and outright nonsense too.
PixieBlink usually provides a no-nag patch on F95 that removes censorship, typically posted a couple of weeks after the initial release of the game. So as long as that remains true, if you're not paying (yet) you should still be able to get the full lewd scenes if you wait a little bit.
This game has one of the lowest reviews to downloads ratio on the site due to the censorship alone.

but there are many users here in the zone who are not bothered by this and can wait a few weeks until PixiBlink makes the no-nag-patch available.

I am not talking about a specific review, I don't care about people's opinions. I am talking about nothing but the number itself, 3 reviews on 100k views for a renpy game is incredibly low. It's not that the reviews don't mention it being censored, it's the fact that there's no reviews to even mention it.

Your logic doesn't track. So there are 3 reviews on this; that means very little. A lot of people (myself included) rarely if ever review a game. There are also rules on reviews, so if anyone reviewed the game but violated those F95Zone rules, their review would be removed. Your statement had been that this was "due to the censorship alone", which is a unfounded statement. I see no evidence that what you claim is the reason for the number of reviews on the game.

Not sure this is quite right, but I think it's pretty close. I've seen plenty of games where early reviews had a bunch of 4- or 5-star ratings. Then, as time goes on, lower ratings are also given, and the overall rating balances out. But I do think the basic idea of what you say is right: over time, reviews tend to become more reliable because those of different opinions will have given their ratings and the overall average will become more accurate to the general feeling about a game among players.
It isn't always so ofc, and just because something is reviewed highly or poorly doesn't mean it will match your personal opinion of it. But that's another matter entirely, obviously.
You say you don't care about peoples opinions but the whole point is about reviews. So perhaps you don't care qualitatively about others opinions but you DO care quantitatively about peoples opinions. So your the type that doesn't care if some one has a good reason to jump off a cliff as long as a lot off people are jumping off a cliff?
I honestly don't have an opinion of this VN ( I haven't played it yet) so don't at me about my opinion, not that you care about my opinion.

I thought I had seen them all on this forum, but it seems not. I've seen developers block anything that was pornographic for non-donors. My, a censorship of the first minutes of games, these are a great first. A game that starts in ignores tread, if the development starts like that the worst is yet to come.
