By the way, the fact that the protagonist in this story is reluctant to cross the line with his daughters but they are not reluctant to seduce him - that is a MAJOR plot point in the story, due to a science experiment, etc. The author is telling a story where the Dad being pulled in against his best intentions actually matters to the plot. Let him write his story.

Some people on here seem to think that they are entitled to the exact story they like best. There are thousands of other games and VNs on here. Maybe they will suit you better.

Man, the art and story and depth of this game are all absolutely terrific, as it was with Avalon! But...WOW, is the base concept horrirfying.

I recall an Ethics professor saying that he always tried his best to not put his own opinions in; to let the students come up with their own conclusions. But that what kept him up at nights was the certainty that some of them would conclude things that he considered monstrous. And that he helped guide them to that.

Transhumanism is a rather large subject, while still being a bit fringe, so nothing strange about not having heard about it. The "trans" in transhumanism does not stand for transsexual, but instead extending across, through, or over, beyond, outside of. Beyond being human, in this case.
The concept of transhumanism is known enough to have not only a wikipedia article, but a full wikipedia portal. As usual, the introductory paragraph will probably offer enough orientation: "a philosophical and intellectual movement which advocates the enhancement of the human condition by developing and making widely available sophisticated technologies that can greatly enhance longevity and cognition."
It is not just about the tech of robots, cybernetics, bio-modifications etc. It debates what the effects of such tech will be on us as individuals and as a species, and what the ethics of this is, for example.

If you would prefer a novel to read, I would suggest Ian McDonalds "Terminal Café" (aka Necroville when released in the UK), or Greg Egans "Permutation City" or some of his short stories f.e.

I personally like the dialogue during the sex. In too many other games you are left with just the physical act and to me in kills the intrigue as to what they are thinking about during the act. Perhaps it could be toned down some or maybe include some of it as part of an inner dialogue but I would by no means just eliminate it.

not just Ghost in the Shell (i actually recommend the "stand alone complex" anime series over the movie for it's dive into trans-humanism) but pretty much all of Masamune Shirow's works, he's been head first into the subject since late 70's.
