Rather heartbreaking, was so looking forward to more of the AoA story. Kinda feels like coming back to an empty house, everything and everyone is gone and there isn't a note telling why.

I do hope TLG is ok, still think an explanation should have been given to fans.

Hillside dev did what TLG should've done, he admitted the update is rushed and he isn't happy with it, but he's burnt out, will take a break to find the passion again and freeze pledges.

The longer one of these games seems to be, the more I believe it will eventually be abandoned because the developer will grow tired of it. Badik being the only exception I can think of, even then, that game will end in like, 2030.

I just wished he passed the project on to somebody else if he really don't want anything to do with the vn anymore. If not that at least share the source of the assets so maybe someone can pick it up or even just do fan arts and stuff. Deleting the whole Patreon and disappearing is just gonna leave everybody dissapointed and angry...

Wow i am still in shock at the loss of AoA, probably checked the site a dozen times to see if there is any news.

I know some don't think much of the story, but there was definitely an emotional draw to this one, going to miss it. Likely won't be any news of why this happened anytime soon or maybe at all, just can't help looking for some though. Would have made the holidays better, TLG WHY? Why you do this.

New info came up that the dev is from Singapore or at least in the asian side of the world. Although nothing is concrete yet about the dev's situation, creating and distributing pornographic materials is a crime in Singapore. If he indeed is from Singapore, make of that what you will.

Yeah, because his patreon initially accepted euro, but that info was told by the only person closest thing to a mod for his discord server.

Hi, I was wondering if patrons can request for clarification from Patreon on why a specific page or project was removed? Not specifically but something along the lines of Patreon rule violation (does not have to know which rule(s) exactly), self termination, violation of a country (US, foreign) law etc. I don't know much about Patreon but it seems reasonable for patrons to access certain information since they're a customer of Patreon albeit indirectly. Cheers.

Honestly i'm confused , i was not using my pc for a whole month because my job time
but i remember that chapter 6 would be the last chapter of the game and also that the chapter was almost ready
with date of release and all.
And today i came to the forum and found a abandoned tag , and read some posts of the forum to try understanding
what is happening D:
I'm honestly lost , because i have no idea of what happened to him make that decision.
But i remember one post of TLG on his patreon page from around 2 years ago ( when i started playing vn's and A.O.A was the second vn i played at the time ) , the post was about the game and that he was not happy with the ways and where the game is leading , because he created that story to be developed slowly , earn trust of the characters and etc.
But he had to rush the story because a lot of patreons members keep sending DM's to him asking "when the fck this game will have sex?" and more kinds of this dm's .

JUST TO MAKE CLEAR , I'M NOT DEFENDING HIM , JUST SAYING WHAT HAPPENED AND WHAT I REMEMBER!

So basicaly , he had a type of game in mind and was forced to change his story and the way the game was
to make his patreons subscribers happy about the game , even if that made he do the game rushed and not with the story
he had in mind ( and yeah he was very unhappy about that stuff ).
