I ran into an issue getting past the clean the house scene at Jenny's the first day - picked up all clothes, talked to all the girls, says I should go see Jenny but can't leave the area. This is a compressed mac public upgraded to gold with scrappy's mod added...guess I should probably expect some bugginess...

Yeah I'm definitely intigued by how the pathways are gonna show, I definitely want more Jenny and her mystery revolving her and her adopted father. I mean they told us snippets of things, but the dinner with her brother is another. Everything about this game gets me curious, it's not a bad thing to have more questions as updates come, but it sure as hell is naturally such an amazing story telling. I am trusting the dev, first time I have really.

Very much the same boat there. The back stories alone certain add to the mystery of things and we atleast see a little of each of the characters pasts and know where their kinda coming from. I too certainly want more Jenny, considering everything, though at the same time I really want more of Jade and Val.

Really good update and the whole game i liked it really! I create 2 different playthrough for me and absolutale amazing,both "sides" (each i have 2-2 different girls paths) have the very different story,1 one with true love and a bit spicey things... and another 1 with nasty things,what a man need

I think the harem debate stems from the fact a lot of content creators are still confused about what the use of the harem tag implies to the majority of the audience.
I've seen people tag stuff as harem simply because there's more female characters than male ones, or because you can romance different female characters individually (harkening back to the idea of anime "harems"), or really use it to tag any story featuring an open relationship.
I'm not saying that this is the case here, since it could very well be that you need to keep all girls at an equal point score to unlock the harem route, but I agree that the author should weigh in on the issue.

It's insane how I already love this game !
I only know a few games that give me this sensation, I mean, characters are well done (art and story), the background is nice (there is more than just the school thing) and once you know that most girls have a "difficult" background, you just want to know everything about it ! It will be hard to choose one if I had too... we will prolly have to start the game again to see other routes... I want more ! More more more !

Honestly, my worst problem about the initial release was how MC instantly stripped for girls and I thought oh well here goes another generic harem. But right now I'm amazed with the 2nd update. There are already branching paths and some girls even started to talk about liking each other and becoming a couple and shit. I thought every girl would ignore other girls until suddenly they become lesbian or something. So it is really refreshing to see branching paths this early and they are actually good. Like I regret not choosing the other even if I wasn't interested in that girl before and so on.
And personally, dev can just remove the harem tag and shift into a different story. I would be very happy, but this is just my personal distaste for a harem. Hell, I would even endure the harem if it means we will keep getting these slow but very sweet plot development with each girl, very cute moments instead of instant gratification.
Fuck yes she is insanely cute! I always had my eyes on Ashley but when I met with Sung-Ji, my MC just succumbed to her and even flirted with her later on, even after I told her that I liked Ashley haha. Such a cute character and amazing model, fitting her story of a Korean singer a hundred percent. Also loved how she makes fun of Ashley with MC lol.
Also to anyone who played the beta like me, this actual gold release is worth it to play again. There are some new renders and the game ends a little bit later.

Another option regarding the compatibility of branching paths already present in chapter one and the harem tag could be this:
Right now we have a partially implemented 'free roam bubble', where the options not chosen are potentially presented again later - like another pool session is hinted at when going to the gym with Val.
That way, in the end, we could actually have seen all the scenes with all the girls and have unlocked all points (or ignore those we aren't interested in) - just their order would vary based on our individual choices/priorities.
Then at some point, the free roam could end, and we continue on a set path with all our accumulated choices until another bubble of that sort opens up.
The script would get way more complex that way for sure and it is totally unsure this actually is the way it's going to be, but it would definitely make this game kind of 'dynamic' and more unique in its approach.
If this was the way it's going to be, I would definitely like that.

I did not say i did not like the game. I was just saying why Harem tag should not be there. I agree to everything you said except the Sung-Ji part. Don't get me wrong she's a nice girl but the bond MC shares with Ashley is something not possible with other girls and i really like the story of 2 childhood friends waiting for each other and finally falling in love.
If i were to choose a girl if ashley was not MC's childhood friend i would have chosen Jenny. If you've played the game you'll understand why i would choose her.
Regarding the game i have 0 problems even if this game does not end up being a Harem game. Honestly i thought this game will be a fuck fest with a lot of horny teenagers in college but i was surprised that this game is heavy on emotions and story is so deep. This is just not an another porn game and thank god it is not slow as fuck like DMD(i still don't have enough patience to complete that game). Also Sluts turn me off a lot and fortunately there's no slut in this game as of now. I mean i know Jade was a prostitute but she had to do it because she grew up in a brothel but even she doesn't act like a slut.
I just hope this game will continue to show real story and emotions(without NTR of course).
Let me see if I've got this right. Elizabeth seems like she's going to be the femdom aspect and now, some of the girls are talking about getting together? I truly hope all of that, if I'm right, will be optional. I really like this game, but, if this is where the dev is going with it, I'll just wish them well and move on.
I genuinely hope this game will feature a fully-featured harem route. The heroines are all interesting and the writing is good, so I'm genuinely interested how the author plans to make a harem relationship work eventually.

In other games there are girls who are easy to refuse, but in this game all the girls characters are likeable, so it pissed me off to refuse one of them. All girls are attracted to MC when they first meet, i think this game is perfect for having a harem route.
