Modeling for a few bikini photos does not mean working as a model. I think that's how you should understand Sophia's thoughts here.
Nevertheless, it remains a logical mistake in the story. Too often L&P let Sophia act as if she had no past at all. Amnesia - and now she is suddenly proud of the pictures?
Most probably after watching magazine dylan ask shopia for another photoshoot and this it can be nude shoot where dylan can touch her body..that's the only way he can make progress equal to sam

What I understand from L&P's statement is that currently Sophia is'nt proud of that photoshoot, rather she is ashamed of it (that's how I read her facial expression in that teaser), but Dylan will encourage her and try to make her proud of it.
His exact statement was "it's rather something Sophia could be proud of".
That's how differently we read faces.
I see Sophia curious, excited and a little proud. No signs of shame or guilt, as after the hairdressing event in the car.

We have to see why the developer wrote it that way.
The developer answered the question of whether Dylan would blackmail Sophia using magazine photos.
The developer replied that blackmail was not possible because it was not a vulgar magazine and Sofia was proud of her modeling in the past.
That's why Sophia wouldn't be ashamed.

Early in the game she was dressed unusually conservatively, and then chose to suddenly pop up with a past of having taken sexy photos, and a stance reading that she felt uncomfortably disgusted by such things. It's as if the developers made the character's motivation and behavior appear cutthroat for the sake of the present story, and she's not her anymore

If Sofia says she hates her past, it conflicts with what the developer said, "Sofia will be proud of herself," and it should go as roro said.
If Sofia doesn't hate the past, it conflicts with what Sophia has been saying.
The moment the developer put the magazine picture in, the setup collapsed.
L&P never said Sophia was proud of her modeling in the past. English isn't my native language, and I guess it isn't yours also, but his statement here is nowhere near what you claim he said ("Sofia was proud of her modeling in the past"). He also never said something like "Sofia will be proud of herself" which you claimed he did in your previous post...

I don't care if Sophia is shy or proud.
Sofia has said that she has never modeled in the past, so I thinks the magazine shouldn't be in game.
There's the word "could" in there. It means she may be proud, or may be regrets it, but according to someone (L&P himself? Dylan maybe?) she should be proud of it. It doesn't mean Sophia is proud of it at this moment.

Kind of like how some women will say "they never did that" or "were never like that" and then suddenly, you find the evidence that says the exact opposite. Sophia strikes me as the sort of woman that'd pretend and lie just to keep her past hidden, at least from her children and quite possibly from her husband, if people are on the corruption path in the story. It would definitely explain why it's so easy for so many men to influence her lust on that path. Deep down, she'd have to be one of the biggest sluts out there and have engaged in that behavior when she was young, to some degree or another from a logical standpoint. That isn't to say she was riding every dick out there, just that she was engaging in some behavior that would have been considered wild and likely doesn't want her kids or husband to know about. Enough wild behavior to make the corruption path relevant that it can expose that past, make her start back down it and become a wild slut in this game should players choose that path.
Lets face it, considering how this whole thing has been slowing down more and more over the last several years, it's fairly obvious the guy was lying. He had no plan as far as the direction this story was going to go in. He might have had a partial plan for one or two paths but he's made so many variables without them leading anywhere remotely sexual (for the most part), that odds are good he's writing the story as he goes. If he actually had the story fleshed out like he originally claimed, after this many years of development, this game would have been about at the half way point by now. We won't see that happen for several more years to come.

And why shouldn't it? The story isn't finished yet, and it may be subjected to changes. Many writers make changes to previous chapters before publishing. Some even make changes to already published books in 2nd edition. L&P made it clear years ago that he makes a lot of changes in his story, and it's very likely that some changes will make an impact on previous chapters of the story. Of course he will have to fix the inconsistencies, and I'm sure he will.

This isn't a woman's lie, it's what the developer explains in the game.
And like roro's writing, you can edit it at any time.
However, since the setting is broken, it must be corrected.
