Isn't the artist for this game literally a yaoi artist?

Japan had way more gay shit in media than the west prior to like the mid-2000s or so. Don't act like they're cavemen just because western culture went from eww gays icky to EXCUSE ME THIS IS A WOMAN'S PENIS AND IT BELONGS IN THE WOMEN'S RESTROOM at lightspeed.
I never said they didn't. Japan has, historically, been way more accepting, though only in a "we don't talk about it but yeah" kinda way.

Then Western values of "homosexuality sinfulness" came in and fucked up stuff for a while, and since Japan is very slow to societal changes, it's taking a while to undo the damage and progress the issues.

I was just saying that Japan is still a conservative country in many ways, and you can't expect it to be as sensitive to social issues as many Americans are. If you think being LGBT in Japan is just as easy as being in America, I suggest you try it.

Most yaoi stuff is written by women, for women, which is what I meant by a "girl with a dick." They just replace the girl with a hyper femme, submissive guy for the girl to project on to. They weren't really written for gay men as a primary audience, just as the subject. I was saying I'm glad these characters still recognizably act and look like dudes, and consider it a positive mark for the game.

That Lurker guy needs to fuck off though. The game is a bisexual game at its core and there's no need to be hostile to someone for simply not recognizing a difference in social values.

I would suggest looking at the tags on and , because this thing has some really hardcore shit in it! You will not live through it if you can not handle the tags, trust me. The artstyle might lessen the scare factor of it, sure, but it also has sound, so it will get you with stuff at some point.
Thanks for the warning! Judging by the tags and guides there's definitely some nasty shit I have no intention of seeing. Despite all that i'm (foolishly) giving the game a shot with several precautions. I'm just too curious of how the game plays despite being afraid! I'm using one of the walkthroughs recently posted here (thank you, btw!) to HOPEFULLY avoid the bad ends. I'm coping by playing with the pixel art, small window, and having the sound play through my headphones while setting them on my desk. We'll see how long a chicken shit like myself can last.

Btw I went through the ulmf thread and put together some walkthroughs scattered throughout the posts.

Should do West path before East (Choosing Seijirou for your team puts you on East Past)
Man, I totally forgot that I wrote that walktrough with someone else, lol.

Hmm, strange that I missed this game. It looks quite unusual, well and from what I can see it's a remaster. However, the ratings are solid and the new dash is very nice, I'll definitely give it a try ;-)
Thanks for sharing.

Do the questions at the start do anything? The ones where it asks if you like to be afraid and such.
Really interesting games, but the amount of figths is annoying

Thanks brother, I don't think I can make it past this unforgivable tag.

Translate this to english:
It says error not found.

What do I do after putting the shield in the statue? Can't open any other doors, can't break any other walls nor get Shima to follow me to move the bookcase.
