Has anyone tried to or knows how to cheat extra rests in, or edit save files to allow more? I dont want to use a gallery save or do more than 5 playthroughs to try to get all scenes, thanks in any case!

Never tried it, and I think it's impossible to do, or at least not recommended to.
The majority of the sex scenes in this game are tied to the route/ending. Forcing to "trigger" conflicting scenes might just break the save.
It's been a while since I played this game, but IIRC that once you're locked to a "route", it's impossible to trigger another route/watch their intro scenes even with leftover rests. (eg: locked into vanilla route, and you cannot trigger the NTR scenes anymore)

You can always speedrun NG+ without resting at all (surprisingly easy in 3rd> NG+ once you've maxed level with OP weapons and recovery items).
Unlock all rest spots/rest amount, progress as far before getting locked into a generic route / "no turning back point", save the game, then simply keeps sleeping (or let them sleep with each other) until you unlocked their sex scenes / route / ending. Beat the game, then reload that save. It's a timesaver.
This game was meant for multiple playthrough after all. True end requires you to play at least 3, way more if you retried halfway and doing runs snipping for lores.

I've done at least 7 full NG+ runs, from beginning to end. And that doesn't include the runs where I do the trick I just explained above to unlock that specific character(s) ending, where I just abandons that save and return back to the save where the path diverges, else double that number.
I didn't even touch any BL scenes/routes at all, so yeah, it's a very VERY long game for a completionist.
Honestly, just download the save. Unlocking everything legit might as well be impossible. There's way too many variables that can change the outcome of the ending(s).

My advice is to do what the post above recommends, get the content you want, and then get a gallery save. New Game+ is very easy, but is also a time-consuming adventure in CG hunting. After enough runs, you generally understand the gist of events prior to the CG event. There are even a number of obscure events that don't have a CG.

I mean Fakku is the Publisher not the author. I couldn't find anything else from this artist on the vndb. But thanks for your snark!
I see, my bad. Look at this:

Most of his works are doujinshi, but looks like he also released a few games:
1)
2)
3)

And there will be a new game in the future called

Still you are lazy

Does someone know the story and lore of this game? Preferably on a GEEK level, because I have real difficulties in trying to understand what the hell happened in this accursed game!

Is my understanding of the story correct? I got all endings, including two true endings.

The plot has been a topic of debate and we all generally agree it's messy, even without considering mistranslations. You're more or less right, except for a few things.

Hmm... it's unfortunate that this game has a poor gallery and it does not save all the notes you did read...

I suppose discussing it without attached material is not effective.

It's been a long while. You could be right about the note mentioning a girl instead of a boy. I don't think your reincarnation theory holds, though. There's more evidence to support time travel over reincarnation, and there's even dialogue that explicitly mentions time travel. Homura being able to loop back to the beginning is a subconscious use of his powers. If not, then Yuki's. There's an in-universe reason for why selecting to give up loops you back. He's even able to recall dialogue that hasn't happened yet, like he did back in the west wing church area. The dead characters, the ones whose fate you can learn through VHS tapes and notes, didn't reincarnate into the main characters. For starters, I'm pretty sure some of these characters before they died were definitely alive at the same time as the main characters. I wouldn't be able to draw you a timeline, but I'm confident the serial killings at the mansion happened up to around a decade or more prior to the events of Abaddon.

In the Yuki True End, she told that Homura will reincarnate into a different person with no memories.
How will you explain that?

She doesn't literally mean he'll be reborn, like reincarnated or being birthed again. She means reborn as another person. To assume another identity. It's similar to when Mizuki was told in the same ending that she would be reborn stripped of her humanity. Reborn is phrased in how you would say if you were remaking someone. In Mizuki's case, suffering for eternity. In Homura's case, a fresh slate.
