Thought I'd give this one a try as the tags looked interesting.

Colour me happy, bisexual options left, right & centre along with the whole sci-fi vibe. One particular joy was the way the sex scenes were done. None of the usual ultra-submissive or ultra-aggressive behaviour on the part of the MC. Just some hot consensual sex whether with a guy or girl.

Colour me unhappy, the whole Unity thing. The game hangs at inopportune moments requiring a restart with no idea as to why. A genuine shame but as others have said, I'm used to Ren'Py and enjoy that engine's mechanics I guess.

Best of luck on this one. If you ever port it to Ren'Py, all the better.

Dude, I'm bisexual, and there's nothing wrong with asking if a scene he doesn't like will be optional. For example, I don't like ntr/sharing scenes if the dev wants this in his game, I would like this to be avoidable. This isn't Twitter, wouldn't it be better if people respected opinions? He is not demanding anything, this is a forum, made to listen to people's opinions and IF the creator wants to implement it in the game. It's totally fair to ask if gay scenes are going to be optional, even more when the summary says "Straight and Bisexual" instead of just bisexual.

Well, if not wanting to watch gay porn cause you're straight makes you homophobic, I guess that makes all the gay ppl asking to make the straight sex avoidable as well heterophobic. Cause we have plenty of gay/lesbians on this place that ask for exactly that.

There are games where there is Futa, Furry, Animal, Violence, any kind of preferenxe u whant but, only the Gay part is ALWAYS ASKED to be skippable ( or removed ). Look for yourself.. Every fuking game whit mix content is infested by the same question. Over and Over and over, some time are litteraly one above other. This is not a preference this is "obsessions" ( of Fobia ) And no... The Gays do not ask if straight sex are avoidable.

Whilst the act of asking if a given scene is 'avoidable' or should be cut out entirely isn't by itself a homophobic comment, to suggest that there is an army of gay people trolling straight games asking for hetero content to be avoided is a joke, much like the responder above suggested.

By and large, the most vocal crowd (beyond the great debate of NTR) is the straight requests for gay or trans content to be avoidable. The same people are routinely ok with lesbian content (go figure) but sometimes get triggered over that too.

One would have thought if there was given content in a game (labelled appropriately in the tags) the mature thing to do would be to say 'no thanks', not get onto a thread and bitch and moan about the possibility of dicks being sucked by men. Is that homophobic? Many, including myself would say 'yes', but more importantly, it's petty, childish and insecure.

you won't go blind or catch on fire if you see something you don't want to, but like the guy said, the inability to look past or skip over something you dont like is rather ridicolous, maybe you just need your parents to choose for you.

Perhaps, but I find Ren'Py's interface to be much more user friendly. For example, Ren'py has unlimited save slots or at least in the hundreds and you can hide dialogue boxes with H. You're free to use whichever program you wish, but there might be a very good reason why Ren'Py is far more popular on this website.

The truth is that there are many games where optional tags are included, so asking if that content is optional or not is perfectly normal.

On the other hand, if I had to avoid all the games that include tags I don't like, I probably wouldn't have ended up playing a few games I did like: That content was, in most cases, avoidable, or very sparse (such as a game where all futa content is limited to a single scene between two characters without the MC).

Otherwise, after starting the game, I don't think it's to my liking, so I'll pass on playing it.

With that line alone....You called a person homophobic for wanting gay content to be optional. If the same person asks the same question over and over, that makes them ignorant. If multiple people ask the same question, it's likely because they don't read threads before posting their own thoughts. As BlasKyau said, it's common for people to ask if certain kinks/tags are optional, and nothing wrong with that. It can get annoying when that same question is repeated ungodly amounts of time, but I see only 5 pages in this thread. I promise you, there are threads that are much worse about that.

I have to agree. The most of the time, the question is asked about optional or even removing content it revolves around either gay, bi or futa scenes. Watersports? No problem. Incest? Naturlich. BDSM? Whatever floats your boat. (as long as it's hetero encounters). A gay scene? "Oh, I don't want to see that, why can't it be removed or made optional?"

As a few have said already, here's a thought. The tag says 'gay' or 'bi' or 'futa'. You're not into that? Fine. No harm, no foul, but when you come into a thread whining about the content which is obviously labelled, that kinda makes you look homo/transphobic.

I have a list of things that, if they aren't optional, I prefer not to play: rape, sleepsex, gay, NTR, sharing, futa, trans (I'm sure I'm forgetting something). Of others, if it cannot be avoided, I would only play if the amount is very small: Femdom, maledom, BDSM, lesbian, and a long etcetera. Actually, I'd much rather all of this be avoidable. But they are my tastes, and most people don't have to share them.

In almost every thread I enter I have to ask if something is avoidable. But asking isn't demanding, it's just knowing if the content of the game is going to interest me or not.

There are quite a few games with optional NTR that have this tag because they have NTR. In fact I play a few (some that I quite like by the way) without having seen a single scene from NTR: The secret is to go in and ask. If it's avoidable, then I try to see if I like it, if not, I'll find another one. Asking if it's possible to avoid content it's just being informed to make a decision.

i have read everything from this thread... sometimes i wonder if the people writing here have even played the game... because the gay / bi scenes are just 5 images out of a total of 268 images... and if you don't talk to the male then you don't see them at all = so much excitement for almost so less content... the game just stays the way it is now...

Yes, I also think we need much more gay content in this game, otherwise the whining-party will be terribly upset and ashamed of the lack of the content they need to ask to avoid, make skipable, mark with pink signs and - mainly - to whine repeatedely about . Looking great so far. it's just the prologue that has actual scenes doesn't it? I was wondering if I was missing something to get into character's pants
When more story is implemented will you provide a walkthrough, or will you make everything easily accessible?
One niggle I have is that on Magnus Tempus some of the rooms are grayed out in the selection screen, but the ones you can choose don't always have something to do meaning you waste an action point (if I read that correctly). It's also a bu confusing how long periods of the day last.
