Are you sure you payed them, you must click on the button and make sure the money is subtracted and its 2000 or about 10% of your take. (Which ever is higher.)

That is the min you must pay on Sunday's each week, if you collect say 30k he will take about 3k from you but if you only click 10k he will still take 2k from you.
the real question is how can i gather this money i just started the game after i saved Alexandra

First go to the alley and train as much as you can for the first 4-5 days then go to his office and do the easy jobs as much as you can till you at least get 2k then pay him then keep working the rest of the time that first week to get as much money as you can.
Now for the 2nd week you need to start training other skills to but keep going to the alley and train as much as you can and soon you can start doing the harder jobs, its just a grind you have to do.
Grind up all skills to about 80 and you should be good to go for the hardest jobs without losing or not able to complete them but keep work on all skills and get them over 100.
The higher your skills the better it will be but the alley is the main one for collecting money.

Maybe it was to easy for stats in the first upload so I will have to give it another go when I get some time and start a new play through.

I'm really surprised that PTOLEMY could of written a story like that, it's really not going anywhere, same thing over and over day after day after day, it gets really boring, this is really not like him. Usually, PTOLEMY is a great story writer, but this game is really not that good, in my own opinion anyway, as for saying that, I really hope I didn't offend anyone, and if I did, I apologize, but it's my opinion of this game.
