All the developers as people who write a book, or paint a painting, or making a movie must be free and able to present their work their imagination. So as in all the above taste for each person isn't the same some may see a painting, read a book or play a game and some others they don't. Because some they like it and others not that is and must be the human nature each one as individual must have his/her taste. So for practical reasons all those that they don't like a game the easy solution is to move to the next available game till they find with what they feel happy. There isn't any reason to complain or trying to force someone to make what you want and need and take on the consideration that others may like what you don't. So best to leave the developer free of complains and take the ride to see what this game will be. Besides this developer has already made a great game so personally I trust him that he will make another one great game which I probably will like also.

hi MrKnobb, I liked your other project, retrieving the past, just a little surprised the change mid-way through. However, I'm just curious if this will be a true harem? 'cause most harems don't usually have specific routes/paths for specific love interests...
In any case just wanted to let you know the ae_patch has a few bugs in it(not sure if you're the one that wrote the ae_patch):

p.s. Don't let other people affect what you should add/remove from your VN. if they want to "suggest", fine, but it's your VN, write it the way you want it. If they don't like then they can write their own VN (just my humble opinion).

Just from curiosity, since RtP and AE are not to your liking, what games met your expectations? I am just trying to understand what is your reference point...

RtP was a special case. I liked part 1 but it misleaded me. I wasn't expecting such a drastic split of paths. Anyway I finished the game with Eve and I liked part 3. But as a whole the game wasn't to my liking and I didn't feel that I would play other paths too.
As for the games I like to play (yet) here are some i check every couple updates: Haley's Story, Rebecca, Halfway House, Triple Ex, Deliverance, Echoes of Lust, Secret Summer, Revenga, Alexandra, Red Lotus Flower, Live to Fight, Defending Lydia Collier. There are also some with more characters or more grind but they are lower on my list.

You using the patch right? IF so downlaod latest one again and replace all files that is part of that patch in your game folder
Then try again. Worst case is you will have to start a new game but i think getting correct patch version will be enough.

So the PC's superpower is that some hot chicks want to fuck him? But that's what porn is for to begin with, at least the kind that involves sex. So basically, the reason people are playing the adult VN is also the premise of the adult VN's story. It's totally pleonastic, like a batman movie where batman realises he hates crime and wants to stop it. Maybe this is a fetish or something but this (presumably central) plot point seems weird and pointless to me. It could be a clever postmodernist critique of the nature of porn, though I somehow doubt that's the intent.

Is it? Or is it not? All I will say to that, dont judge without enough information.
This is a strongly story driven VN as stated by the Dev on the Main-Page -->> Dev Notes. And this VN has erotic content. If you want a pure porn game, you have to look for other games. But you should know that as you already rated the previous game of MrKnobbs and seem to not like this kind of games here. That is all I will say.

At least in the previous game they had actual qualities that women find attractive even if 'because science'. This one has abstracted the concept of sexuality to the point where it's 'unlocked' by a passive superpower that suddenly triggers for no particular reason. Again, it's just a really convoluted way of establishing that a character in a porn game can have sex.

To be fair, he also fixes the cable.

Just finished playing and liked it a lot. Renders and animations are certainly a notch above RtP and am interested to see where the story goes from here ...also read a good chunk of the thread and ...

- Not a fan of voyeur scenes myself, but didn't find the two that were in the game a big deal at all. Obviously many disagree, but I didn't mind it.

- I always thought that Jensen lost his pheromones a bit to early in the game. With all the girls in AE, count me as one of those that's hoping Mr. Brock keeps this "attraction" ability for a very long while. Especially in light of us only getting two main LIs to choose from in this game (bit sad about that), so I will very much want to max out on the side dishes and in the harem recruitment department

- To the people that are saying that this MC can't compete with Jensen and will forever be in his shadow, I wouldn't be too sure about that. Our Mr.Brock is not much to look at at the moment but he's already showing super-soldier signs
- Super speed rescuing the train suicide
- High pain tolerance after the beat down
- Superior healing speed said so himself
- High heat tolerance and/or stamina comment by Andrea at the beach
- Then there was the red glowing eyes thing, don't know what that was about
...w/o ever being in a program ... or has he, got me wondering more about that torso scar now

Anyway, really like the game. GL to MrKnobb and stick to your vision.
