I thought Anne is supposed to be unlikable, apparently not... I honestly don't see how I'm supposed to like her character. Like after 17 years she starts to feel bad we're supposed to just forget everything that happened? This is honestly strange to me because I've been playing this whole time thinking she was the "bad guy" and we'll end up "beating her"(not physically). Also that escort stuff is just wrong. It's pretty dissapointing because I was actually looking forward to telling her to finally fuck off. This might actually be a deal breaker for me because I really don't want to play "happy family" with her. And no, I'm not trying to coerce dev into changing it.

Right? She literally has 0 redeeming qualities other than being hot, which in this case is not enough. I just don't see how I'm supposed to like her.

Lol I love Anne's model. But the foster care system at least in the U.S. is profoundly fucked up. Like its a cesspool of abuse and molestation.

AS for MC himself. You talked about the system in the US. How do the ones there come out? Timid? Self deprecating? Fearfull to be not liked and thrown out? I am not from US. But I know how some abused cases come out here in germany.... And they have mentioned tendencys.

yeah, the whole situation is shitty for the mc at the moment. Getting thrown out of the house, and then his only option is crushing in the house of the person who abandon him is not really what I would call ideal. And then summer.... she is sure making things more complicated.

Anne's definitely need to answer for a lot at the moment, but I don't think I have it in me to hate her as much as you, I'm just not that kind of person . And you are absolutely right, the mc can't fully trust her right now.

See, I try not to think about things too deeply but yeah, if Anne abandoned MC at the age of 5 to foster care when she could of easily taken care of him? Fuck her. Especially if she had a small child already (Summer). Most moms will tell you, if you have 1 already, 2 isnt that big a deal, I know this from experience.

I am more willing to forgive Anne then most so long as she shows she's actually repentant. MC should absolutely be weary of her and I think he has been but he also cant afford to squander his 1 chance at making something of himself. As Samara said, she and Gordon are literally stuck working dead-end jobs with no hopes of being able to afford college to get a better jobs so MC would be in the exact same boat. As anyone who's lived in poverty can tell you, sometimes you do got to swallow some pride to get what you need, Samara is right. Can't afford to fuck that up until he discovers his super powers.

Oooooh but then... Well, Anne better endear herself to MC because once MC has his powers, I can't see a logical reason why the fuck he'd want to stay around her. Anne says that its best not to talk about MC's mother, why is that? What could we guess from the way she deflects the question about his mother? What may or is Anne thinking?
Edit: What could be the reason why she abandoned the MC but not her own daughter?

Think about these things and just let me give you the info, that there are already hints in the game that could give way to some answers for these questions. Not all answers and certainly not for every question I suggested. But yeah, it could at least help in understanding or at least trying to understand some things better.
