It's debatable whether there's any Netorare in the game? The closest is John, because Anna is jealous of his relationship with Janine. But the fact that Anna cheats so much, and John is aware of this, does negate the impact of this quite a lot. John isn't cheating on her with Janine, because him and Anna are just fuck buddies, they don't have any kind of formal relationship. As I've explained before Netorare only applies to the protagonist, and them being cheated on, and experiencing feelings of jealousy and mental anguish at the prospect of losing their love interest. And in this instance, Netori doesn't apply either, because then the cheater has to be taking away someone else's love interest. That's why there is no NTR tag, just a cheating tag. There is no appreciable NTR in this game, and Anna cheating on Andrew is definitely not a part of what little there is. That is just cheating, and nothing more.

The netorare tag you refer to, is in the unofficial renpy remake which concluded several years ago. F95 have since refined their interpretation of what constitutes netorare, and that's why it doesn't appear in the tags above. But because the unofficial renpy remake is effectively abandoned, I guess they don't change the tags on those retrospectively.

If you skip it all, how would you know it was nonsense? I've not noticed any recent dip in the quality of the text. And the criminal plot if anything has got more interesting, with Carl being revealed as a villain, Anna taking a much larger role in it, and the reveal that Sergey's gang is just a small part of a much larger Mafia organisation, which Anna will have to deal with in the future. Also, the FBI have them all under surveillance and now want Anna to infiltrate the larger Mafia organisation and discover the kingpin behind it all. I think the criminal plot so far, has only been the precursor, to a much more expanded storyline we'll get in the future.
