Playing with the save implanted gives you the dead Jeremy route and less corruption points and gives you a happy ending with the Earl. I'd hate to play with a save that I didn't choose it feels like playing another story and I have no choice because the only way to not run into bugs is playing with the implanted save.

Yes, I noticed the same problem before. Here. No one seemed to mind the fact that the decision is irrelevant. Maybe this is a bug of 0.95. Perhaps the content of the option "don't pick up the gun" we will see in version 0.10. Who knows. Anyway, I'm glad someone else noticed this.

You still have to replay the content anyway. So you can get back on the Jeremy route again after it's been fixed. So personally, I don't see the point in playing right now

Got the same question and asked before here, but there doesn't seem to be an answer just yet.

Logically it's a bug or an error in the code. The changelog says "Basement (Different scenes whether you are on Sergey's or Earl's side)" so it doesn't make sense to have the same scene regardless of what we choose to do with the gun.

Old save files should work but we have included a save file that starts at the beginning of the update - please anyone share, mega link is not working anymore

It's probably just something the Devs have missed, and can easily be corrected in the next update? It's not the first time by any means, that something in the storyline hasn't made sense. As soon as I get a chance to play v0.951, I'm going to replay the whole of Chapter 2, and make every single choice you can possibly make. And hopefully come up with a full list of all the existing bugs and inconsistencies in the game, and then private message that to the Devs on Discord.

This is the beta release of Chapter 2 v0.95 - A Mark for Life
As the game gets more and more complex because of different paths, we decided to release it to 25$+ patrons 3 days earlier to test it so we can fix major bugs. Then it will be out to other tiers in regular order.

We have finally finished working on the v0.95 release of Chapter 2 and it's called A Mark for Life
Old save files should work but we have included a save file that starts at the beginning of the update.
In this update, Anna finally deals with Earls, Sergey's situation as well as Fitzgerald's, he might be around if you decide to side with Earl. Anna will also start working more in the adult industry. We decided not to make two separate paths for Escort and Shoot so now you can still do both, but you can choose to do only one.

Quality of life changes(Hide text box background, center text)
Experimental new adult animation control screen during sex scenes(Used in pool scene)

Fixed a bug after the corporate event that Anna doesn't go home if she has good standing with Jeremy.
Fixed a bug with Shing Zhou corp were not 'persuading' the men would lead to looping of another scene.

Slowly phasing out old phone function. Quests can still be received but no more 'texting'
Collectibles are images of Anna and other characters out of the game in different settings. They can be in different places at different times of the day. So far there are eight, and more to come.

maybe Andrew wouldn't get so much hate from the patreons if the Dev wasn't written as a repellent and obnoxious character; especially in the last moments of the first chapter.
In my opinion, one of the biggest problems I see with these stories based on infidelity or ntr is that the boyfriend/husband is a joke about his love relationship with his girlfriend/wife, giving the impression that they are just friends and not such a couple.
Especially since they always resort to him having a small penis or not knowing how to satisfy his girlfriend.

if you playing Sandbox, you can use the save provided it "fixes some of the bugs" but is incompatible to VN (which is now aviable from what I read)
