Somehow I've managed to finish the recent Season 2 update and I think it's very well done, actually benefits Lindsey fans like me, and narratively it's slower which really makes sense but the pacing doesn't make a player like me feel dragged down. It really gets the mystery going too.
but I think one of the downsides is that once you finish it says the pre-requesites for what you've completed in Season 1 have not unlocked so far, and everytime you start a new update you have to select the chapter to play through.
Logically speaking I have finished at least 80 to 90% of the game and with the gallery unlocker I've gotten the gist of how Season 1 ends, along with having to clear all my saves that don't even work back till August 2021 (no rollbacks or ignores unfortunately to revisit all old saves), and I'm guessing I might need to start anew by just sticking with the current update. Maybe I'll run into doing Season 1 again when the whole game finishes?
The gameplay still remains kinda jarring while the story and characters are excellently well done. Season 2 should be a whole separate new chapter that doesn't tie or bog down with previous choices when the 1st was in spring/summer and this one goes into autumn and fall. Imo that's just me though.
