There are options that change the flavor of some of the conversation, but here's the nutshell version (as best I can). Note this is VERY LONG as just reading through this update took 30-40 minutes, along with seeing if some dialogue choices changed things (I didn't test all of the options)

When Steph and Jason going at it Tori made it clear she was not interested in MC at all but was happy her husband can fulfill their "bull" role. Then players went out their way and scream at dev. That whole idea was already taken out of the game, doesn't matter what dom value MC has, Tori will not shut him off anymore.

Why take that whole thing out if cuck path was planned anyway. Canceled the foundation of something being build then suddenly laid out the building without its foundation? That's gonna be a disaster if they chose to write it that way.

Errr did you read what I said? I'm not commenting on anything at all. I was simply stating the fact that the dev canceled their cuckold set-up from previous update. It EXISTED in 1.07, then it had been removed because players are upset. Tori NO LONGER shut down MC now, she used to shit on him in 1.07. So yes you will have a black bull and a nympho as a wife in 1.07. They had canceled the whole cuck set-up after a few updates.

We finally got 1.08 out last night, and it appears to be functioning without any major bugs. The featured new content, Steph's big reveal, is the second major anchor point in the story, and there is one more to go. Not all plotlines go through to the third one.

After this scene, some of the paths through the story start to end. I've said countless times that we have kept alive several paths that were never intended to run this far, but players were interested in where those paths could take them, so we ran them longer. That required some rewriting and reworking of material, and it really required a lot of work for this latest scene as we were now entering the scene from a much wider variety of experiences. Originally, the Steph and Jason scenes at Tori and Jason's were crash and burn paths. The bypass scene didn't exist, but now it has it's own twist on the twist. So where the main line story enters the scene as it was always intended after the second game with Steph losing it again, the rest still need some cleaning.

So what's next? There is a lot that needs to be fixed and fine tuned in the content that exists in terms of content as well as game mechanics, but I'm going to leave it alone for now. Make your comments, I'm reading them, but I'm just not going to act on anything right away. We need to finish the game.

So next up is update 1.09 which will center around the MC and Tori and closing out some storylines. We are also going to get back to work on replacing animations and cleaning up some of the story elements between Friday night and Steph telling her story. After the MC and Tori have their scene, there is another scene with Steph. Update 1.09 will go through that scene with Steph. After 1.09, I won't update the game until we are ready for final release. We will release 1.10 in Early Access still, live with it for a few weeks, fix anything that needs fixing, and then release the game. After that, we will continue to add to the game with our loop ending system. By the time we get to 1.10, there will be loop endings on some of the paths that played out early.

I rerun some of my old saves and using commands altering my dom1 = 2 dom1 = 1 just like previous update trying to trigger the old scenes it didn't work as well. Only the save where the sex was ongoing still works for me lmao. Only 1 save where my MC likes to watch has the couch scene triggered. Although didn't make much difference in dialogue as what I've seen. If Steph had sex with Jason on couch Tori is kind of upset that she lost control since this whole charade was to get Steph to reveal the secret and then she apologized for losing control and went too far . I kinda lost count of how many times she apologized in this whole update.

So question for those who played other paths.. From the above, is the "true" path Steph and Jason having sex after the dinner party? Am I reading the dev update correctly?

I've been trying to play the game as close to HC and "sharing" only with the MC's permission and direct consent, and it's sorta done ok at that (Friday night is still a huge negative mainly in how it went down), so wonder if the path I'm on is considered one of the false paths.

If Steph was supposed to 'lose control' with Jason, and Tori got upset, it really proves that Stref really is just a no impulse control slut with zero will power. Worse yet, she has zero impulse control but tries to apologies later (maybe some who buy words instead of actions would buy that excuse like a sucker), instead of curbing her inpulses or at least making sure she doesn't cheat on the MC. I say 'cheat' as opposed to share because if she's downstyairs fucking Jason, while MC and Tori are upstairs talking, and that's the 'canon' path, that's nothing BUT cheating. There's zero sharing at that point, just a slut who can't keep her legs closed, regardless of her excuse.

Also, anyone ID what the "bypass path" is?

For Steph and Jason sex scene, it's the same as before. dom1 = 1 is where Steph start acting submissive to Jason, dom1 = 2 where Jason start by eating her out.

Nothing happens between Steph and Jason if sp <= 1. Besides the dom1 value there's another requirement "sp" which is gained throughout the choices of the night, also the choice where before MC and Steph leave for Tori house, there was a choice to specified "tonight is just talking" which gives -1 to sp.
"I say we dive in like we did Friday night." and "I have no problem with that at all." will give sp +3 also the talk with Jason when the girls are upstairs, allowing him will gives +1, discourage Jason -1.

this is why i hope the Dev backs away a bit from the Confidence / SP / Dom variables so much. lot of people are not getting the scenes they want. I feel it's needlessly complex. It should be down more to choices in dialogue then needing to hit the exact numbers to see a scene. I'm starting to feel like a need a notepad to keep track of numbers more then the actual choices I want to make.

If I say "only talk" then they should only talk no changing into lingerie.
If I say "go wild girl" ..then she should just go wild.
If I say "let's take it slow" then take it slow and confirm our actions.
If I'm been a little bitch going into the scene and she's mad at me then maybe she acts up.

I assume dev meant if Steph lost control it was supposed to be bad end paths. Because if scenes happen there won't be second game. I think having the second game is more canon to the story since the night was supposed to be just sexy and not start fucking each other's wives. And now it's stated that whole Tori's plan was just to get Steph reveal her secret to MC, makes more sense that high confidence/dom1 paths are more "canon".

confidence variable was only used till the dream scenes then it got translated into dom1 and was never seen again in following updates. dom1 became the most important variable throughout the whole following night, and now sp matters during the talk with Steph before heading to Tori's house and the talk with Jason. And the whole 1.08 talk with Steph is all sp though, the options comforting and understanding her gives positive sp else it's negative. Am I safe to say it's gonna translate into another variable for coming update like what they did to confidence?

I am glad that my assumptions were completely justified. Conspiracy against MC created by Steph/Jason/Tori. MC manipulation. Steph is a hypocritical whore and that's a very mild expression. Steph never liked MC, she used it, it was convenient. The author is lying, there has never been love or a happy marriage. Always and everywhere for Steph, only her ego, only her interests, only her comfort are important. Always and everywhere Steph does only what she wants. Always and everywhere the MC is insignificant for Steph. During the conversation, Steph was only concerned about herself, her ego and her interests.
All of Steph’s explanations boil down to one thing – Steph wanted to drive MC into conditions that were convenient only for her. Steph was never interested in MC's opinion, she only wanted to hear “YES”. Steph says she wanted an opinion, that's a lie. On Saturday morning, she gives MC an ultimatum, “MC must fuck Donny,” this is not getting an opinion, this is imposing an opinion. Let's add that Steph wants to win the argument with Tori, for Steph her ego is more important than the MC. Steph's ultimatum confirms that she doesn't care about MC or his opinion. She knew that Tori would not fuck MC in the evening, she could get MC's opinion as planned. Steph only wants to hear “YES”. After Donny, if the MC responds with “I loved it if you did”, Steph will kick him until the MC says “YES”. Later in the conversation, she herself will confirm that she only sought “YES” from the MC. She doesn't care about MC's opinion. Steph doesn't consider herself guilty, she doesn't think she manipulated MC. Steph doesn't apologize - she justifies her actions.
Tori stuck her dirty paws into someone else's life. The Tori idea was wrong from the start. Her plan can only be carried out if Tori has full control of Steph/Jason and their interests coincide. Tori does not control them, moreover, Steph is not interested in the opinion of the MC, she wants to return to group sex, and Steph only needs one answer “YES”. When the whole plan began to fall apart, Tori did not stop it, but began to put out the fire with gasoline. My opinion of Tori hasn't changed, she's a manipulative bitch. For Tori, the saying “If you can’t take a shit, don’t torture your ass” is appropriate. What these three bastards, Steph/Jason/Tori did, is many times more disgusting than what Chuck did. Compared to these creatures, he is an angel.
They deserve a basin of cement for their feet and a deeper pond.
